Unfortunately not really. I saw him first back in 2011, acoustic and on a stage in a local bar. Although he has a level of fame, no where near the level it should be for such a talent. This guy IMHO is up their with the best today and should be selling out stadiums but his concerts are relatively still small. Jacob Banks deserves the same level as Sam Smith and Adele.
@detectivekornfed4 жыл бұрын
@@ismarcus00500, hopefully in a little more time, he will 🙂. Chris Stapleton worked for years and years as a songwriter, singer, and musician before he reached that level of fame and success. and we know it can be done. Jacob deserves it, as you wrote.

Mr. Banks.... my friend and I were in the very front row of your concert last evening. We have been waiting for months to see you!!!! Lord.....have....mercy.... you did not disappoint. In fact, we were speechless. The words were just ineffable. We're both older women who have been to hundreds of concerts and we're going to keep entertaining ourselves until the wheels fall off. But let me say this.... We have NEVER see a performance like what we witnessed last night. For us, it's all about the "feel". You don't just sing, you "feel" your music so intensely, that it truly gave us pause. It was astounding to witness. We walked away from the stage, shell-shocked. The show was exceptional and everything we love about music, you put it all right there for us, ticking off every box. You are in a class all by yourself. What an honour and privilege it was to be there and watch such greatness. My utmost respect. Well, well, done, Mr. Banks. Well, well done. (slow, methodical) 👏.... 👏.... 👏.... 👏....

Yh Heaven does exist
@wethepeople0794 жыл бұрын
Nah it doesn't. Heaven was a place made up to comfort our self-consciousness from the fear of death and the unknown. When you cease to exist, you have no perception of time therefore 1 billion years can pass in an instant before your energy is transferred into something else. Reincarnation for example. Not heaven because the human mind can't cope with living for eternity. That's why as you get older you become more forgetful 👍
@wethepeople0794 жыл бұрын
@@vg1024 I'm not talking about spirit (which is a theory) at all, I'm talking about your physical/chemical/biological energy... Atoms. Energy can't be destroyed nor created, it's always constant and comes from somewhere else. You didn't come into this world from a god, your existence came from billions of years worth of energy to a single point in time until you die, then your atoms deteriorate either into the Earth to create energy for surrounding soil (fertiliser) or into the atmosphere as gases like ammonia. Everything is chemical and physical when it comes to life and death, not spiritual or divine.
@wethepeople0794 жыл бұрын
@@vg1024 Look mate, when you respond with "lol" then talk about "metaphysical" and "empirical" probably without knowing what they mean, also whilst believing in something you haven't seen, touched, heard or would have believed in without influence, then there's nothing to talk to you about. It's very clear you're on some kind of high horse so cut the shit and move on. I'm stating facts about life and death which has been proven time and time again that you're born through a specific process and die the same way, that there is and will always be a VERY specific amount of energy in the universe at all times. We created mathematics for a reason and it's a lot more reliable than a CULT that has done nothing but bring war and diversity among humans for eons. I've never heard of a country starting a war over a scientific discovery or theory on life and death? I won't insult you, but you are clearly the type of person who is clearly 100% right where everyone else is wrong, without proof or pictures and evidence of your god, faith has been dying for years and will continue to die, the moment we leave the planet and find other world's and truly make our footprint on the universe, religion with be finished. That is, if war caused by religion and beliefs don't kill us all first... Good day to you. 👍 Oh and quick thing, nowhere have I said I don't believe in "more", that's an assumption, what I don't believe in, is a single creator of a universe that is being proven more and more to be infinite in size and spans billions of light-years in all directions and that out of all of it, we're the only living things that exist thanks to a "god".

I love this song...I Created a utube playlist in my tube account.. 'Say Something' sung by every musician I find on utube...so far 25 my play list will keep growing... My eldest brother lost his beautiful voice, his beautiful life. After 8weeks of chemo & radiation he passed away, July 7 2016. My teenage daughter had just learned to play this on the piano, & in the chapel at the hospital she played this beautiful song, people like us who were also waiting, came & sat in the chapel & listened, even the Minister. This has got to be one of the saddest songs. My brother fought to recover, but sadly moments of thought & speech floated in dark silence, tangled in the hazy webs of chemo & radiation as he struggled to say something but gave up...thank you for this song, it will remain forever a memorial on my heart.

Omg I just found this artist from watching the resident. I feel every note Jacob sings. Heartfelt deep rich voice. Now I will be searching for more. I love your voice.

Such a barren song echoing in the hollows of the heart - he whimpers in screams of longing passion.🌬💕🎵
