@@katehutchings6039 my favourite musician John Lennon sang about peace. Bed in peace. Some laughed at him all he was doing was trying to get some peace. I’m sure he would be in floods of tears at the hate in this world right now. The only musician I hear talking is the brilliant Rodger Waters. I used to sing and when I first heard this man sing the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Truly amazing, soulful magical God given voice. Love you man. Peace ✌️

The point of doing a cover is to transform the song into other sounds and other thing totally different. If a cover is just an immitation that cover becomes just a bad copy of the original. So I don’t think we have to judge the cover according to if it’s close to the original but according to how creative it is.

I had a pure pleasure to attend his concert yesterday. The atmosphere he creates is out of this world. It seemed like the crowd was in some kind of hypnosis the whole time - silently enjoying his performance and going wild after each song. It's too bad that there's no video on youtube of him covering the "Knockin' On Heaven's Door". That was unexpected but very beautiful!

Mr. Jacob Banks, I'm a single mom of 2 very successful young men, 1 of which is very musically artistic. When I first heard this song, it brought tears to my eyes because I about how quickly they grew up. I wanted to just stop time and keep them young and never let them go. But now that they are grown up I'm so proud of the successful people they've become. I also have 1 daughter who is truly a testament to the fact that single mom's can raise beautiful successful tributes to society. This song is magical to me, it truly touches my heart and soul, your voice is so full of soul and so are you. Thank you for the soulful music.

I can see beyond the killer track and amazing vocals to the soul of the lyrics. This is a testament to how much Jacob gives to his music. In this song he gives it all. What a gift. What John Mayer’s Gravity did for many Slow Up will do. It is my humble opinion that this song is Jakob’s Gravity🙏🏽

Moved to tears - I misheard "What I learned from a neighbor, Look too hard and you'll find a stranger. Love is a choice." Correct is "mirror" not neighbor, but that's the same idea - we can choose to see our family in everyone we meet or a stranger to whom we treat like they don't matter. Love is a choice. What he learned from a mirror can be applied to everyone.

Love the lyrics, when I moved into my apartment I had wall stickers made of quotes from the song... what ive learned from a traveller, and what ive learned from a mirror.. fantastic! Most musicians lyrics are garbage these days, this is a breath of fresh air!
