My dad kept photos and videos of my sister’s entire childhood, teen years, college years, and early adulthood. He kept all of the years he made memories with her in a hard drive. I don’t know how he found this, but he used this song with the slides at her wedding as a part of his message for her. Safe to say, everyone at the venue shed tears.

Most of us didn't enjoy our adolescence, now that we are grown ups ,we wish to go back to those years, but it's because we learned more, so yes I would like to go back to those years but with what I know now about life, with my self esteem a little more strong now (it still has a lot of growing to do) if you think in your early twenties you lost time, I tell you I'm 40 and it took me all these time to find some strength, so your time is done when you're gone, search what you need to to make yourself happy don't waste your time in the past

He makes it home and we lost him . I think everything day why I did not spend more time .Did I tell tell him I loved him enough .This sucker punched me in my heart .it is so true how we will miss things and we have to hug them and tell them you love them every day .Him being my wife and our only son the pain never stops ,but Al. When I first discovered Jacob, about 3-4 years ago, all I wanted was for him to blow up and get the recognition he deserved. 4 years later, I just wish no one else finds him and changes him. No one should filter this voice. No one should change the instruments he mulls over. No one should interrupt this artistry. And I think I finally understand why he hasn't chosen fame himself, because if he ever does he will lose this.

Ah, yes. The nostalgia of a younger time. Where the burden wasn’t as heavy. The memories that we knew would be our greatest, but didn’t know they would hurt just as much equally. Trapped in the infinite cycle of an aging body and an ever-changing world. Waiting to reach the future yet never wanting to leave let go of the past. I miss them deeply but I know I did my part the best I could. I gave depth, desire, attention, encouragement and most of all my love from the depths of my heart. "What I've learned from a mirror, look too hard and you find you a stranger" the way those words hit me, takes me back years ago to when I lost myself in the vicious cycle of self-sacrifice for love: morals, ambition, goals all get thrown to the wayside when you give everything to one person. the most painful part was having to face the damage I inflicted on myself. not being able to recognize the person you loved your whole life, yourself, is the emptiest of feelings.

I wish I did but I can’t stop listening to it now, it always makes me think of the scene shortly after where he says he fed her gave her some clothes and how he did the bare minimum when he gave her the world. Makes me think of most parents that do everything for their kids, most don’t think they’ve done enough and can’t see how much better they have done raising their child than they can ever truly see. I hate getting into deep thoughts 🤣🤣

Saw him live early on in his career roughly 3-4 years ago and still to this day he is my favourite live performer and was of my great experiences in my life. Man neexs way more love and recognition! Hes so humble, down to earth and you can just see how when he sings and dances he just loses himself to the music and feels every lyric he sings

I always respect the art of music but honestly i love reading the comments... Reminds me that ppl deep down alll want the same thing.. If we only slow up... And not get distracted by the grown up (issue's).. We would be better off.
