I mean... he's not wrong haha I've never heard someone so young speak so eloquently and justly about where the music industry needs to go. He is much more deserving of this award than he can imagine and just his talent and presence is everything he's ever going to need. Part of me hopes he's noticed by the mainstream music industry after this and taken to new heights, but another part of me hopes he stays precious and innocent and ever so true to himself in this little pocket of the world. He is an inspiration and a need in this world. Well done, Jacob!!

When you're nominated and invited as a potential winner to an award like the Grammys, you won't go there without any preparation just in case you might actually win. I think we can clearly see the difference between the first and the second speech. The first one was prepared, the second one was obviously spontaneous and unexpected. :) I find it quite sympathetic and genuine. :)

Well deserved, multi instrumentalist and a knowledge of music theory and harmony vastly superior to nearly all charted artist these days and that have been in the past 30 years, it just goes to show how basic minded the music industry has become over the decades, to many fame seekers and money generators, not many have the desire to put the hard work in to create something beautiful and actually be talented and to take something away from that journey in this day and age, well done.
