@@imauniryne6757 Also it wasn't included in the movie for the extreme ICK but in the Breaking Dawn book there's a guy Quil who imprinted on a 3 year old Claire (he babysits her!), and Jacob says Quil has to live in monkhood until she's of age. Also Quil just stares and doesn't answer when asked why he doesn't date someone his age.

When you realised that he imprinted, the way laughed for straight two minutes “call the police” 😂. If you remember, it’s a blinking you’ll miss it thing but in one of the twilights, I think maybe new moon or eclipse, one of the other wolves has imprinted on a kid as well, and is throwing stones into the water with her, I think it’s meant to set up and get people ready for the idea of this. What I don’t get about the whole imprinted thing is like what if the other person isn’t into you, what if they’re gay they’re too many what ifs and now what you just basically have a stalker 🤦🏾‍♀️.

Technically, the imprinter is supposed to be whatever the imprintee needs them to be. But, all examples we have: Sam/Emily (remember, Sam LEFT Leah for Emily after he imprinted), Paul/Rachel/, and Jared/Kim are all romantic. The implication that the bond will be inevitably romantic (and reproduction driven), so I don't think Smeyer took into account gay people

I feel like they can't *not* be into each other, actually 🤔 like, the imprintee is fated to be with the imprinter. It's automatic, they were literally made for each other - so Resume will be into him by default. Emily "fell in love" with Sam immediately, the toddler that Jake's old packmate imprinted on already feels tied to and loves him; they "can't live without each other/they're meant to be" kinda thing. 🤢🤮🤧 Also, there's no such thing as gay people in Twilight, don't be silly.

its stated that the bond is not necessarily romantic. That covers everything including if some1 is gay (which the author is Mormon so no gay folks, champ). The one who imprints will be w/e the other person needs. Best friend, protector, lover... it just depends.
