Twilight is just such a cult classic now imo. Especially to our gen that grew up with it. I think most of us think it’s a objectively flawed and cringe movie but it’s so nostalgic and iconic for so many reasons. (the colour grading, the script, some questionable shooting/editing choices, the acting, the soundtrack.) It’s so fun it’s such an inside joke to everybody who once were obsessed with the saga. And for that reason I absolutely love Twilight lmao - also let’s be honest it’s Team Charlie

Carlisle is the oldest at over 300 years old, with a physical age of 23. Esme is 76 in a 26 year old body. Alice is 106 in a 19 year old body. Jasper is 164 in a 20 year old body. Rosalie is 92 in an 18 year old body. Emmett is 92 in a 20 year old body. Edward is physically the youngest as he is 110 in a 17 year old body. Bella is newborn in an 18 year old body.

In the books, the vampires didn't 'sparkle' in sunlight. They looked like they were on FIRE. This is a weird direction. Jacob was skinny in the first book then went through puberty and was buff in the next book. They were going to fire Lautner for a buff dude to play Jacob, but Taylor convinced them he could get buff enough to still play the part. He had to bulk up FAST.

To say the Twilight movies were a phenomena is an understatement! Girls/women were obsessed with the books, like nuts. They spread like wildfire through friends, family, coworkers & EVERYONE was talking about these books. So when they announced they were making it into a movie, everyone just went crazy. Edward Cullen on screen?!? Whether people like, love or loathe these movies, they are a part of the cinematic lexicon. Seeing Robert up there embodying so many people’s favorite book character was exciting. Don’t even get me started on the fact that in the books Edward is an accomplished pianist and composer and writes a song just for Bella. That is a big part of the books & they barely touch on it in the movies. So when it was announced that Robert was a musician, actually played the piano in the movie and composed two songs in the Twilight soundtrack, people went insane. I felt sorry for Robert Pattinson. He is so shy and thrust into superstardom with all this fame. He just looked miserable at the time he was doing press.

The reason the kids go to high school is because the family enjoys living in a single place for as long as they can. They all enjoy feeling more “normal” and Carlisle’s passion is working as a doctor, so that entails staying amongst human society. The Cullen kids were all changed between the ages of 17-20, so in order to stay in a town for as long as they can without people noticing they don’t age, they’ll pretend to be as young as they can get away with. So they all start out in high school, and will eventually graduate, and then sometimes enroll in nearby colleges. Each of them have numerous degrees.

Kristen Stewart has actually been in a few things before twilight a few i can name off my head that i have seen was The Panic Room, Mute, Catch That Kid, and Zathura but i will say Twilight was her big break but yeah she's been in a few things Catch That Kid is one of the first ive seen her in even tho i think technically The Panic Room might've been her first role. I would recommend any of those movies (kinda want you guys to watch Sharkboy and Lavagirl too since taylor lautner is in that if you haven't seen it already) i feel like of all of them twilight and new moon are the most cringy (not an unbearable cringe like everyone portrays but enough to make you kinda clench with the dialogue but the last 3 honestly go hard because there's a lot more action and suspense and you get more invested lmao, i want you guys to watch the rest for sureeee. p.s. the title of the books have to do with the phases between the sun, the moon and the earth ex: twilight is like the soft glow you see when the sun is just below the horizon when it sets so it's like the ending of a time but the beautiful start of something new. kind of symbolizes the development of the characters' lives or bella's life.

They are not the traditional werewolves. They are shapeshifters who take on the form of wolves. The Cullen family has 3 talented vampires. You mentioned two, but Jasper is an empath. Victoria is like an escape artist. Carlisle and Rosalie are the only ones who have never tasted human blood, well of course Carlisle has when he changed them, but he never fed on humans. Edward actually has two medical degrees in the books.

Ok I’m gonna defend twilight cause there just fun movies and both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are actually great in their roles for the type of films they are I mean after both of them after they finished the twilight series went on to do arthouse films with Kristen Stewart winning a French Oscar and Robert Pattinson starring in the lighthouse getting critical acclaim and good time with other amazing performance now being batman imo one of my favourite batmen. Loved the reaction wouldn’t mind if you finished the series
