He really, really could. Just look at the expression on Jerry Lewis's face as he heard and saw for himself how Mr. Jacob could. God bless them both..I sure hope that I hear more of Mr. Jacob's music. He really made me smile. I really, really enjoyed it very, very much and I thank you. Have a Blessed Day Amigo. Adios.

I have to say that I have watched this video probably 10 times in the last 2 days. I am a HUGE Jerry Lee fan and even got to meet him when I was a kid and we lived across the street from him in Collierville Tennessee. I have seen people imitate Jerry or try to imitate him. A lot of piano players can sing Jerry Lee's songs and they do OK. Nobody can emulate Jerry Lee's style on the piano , at least not until I saw Jacob! I really watched the playing more than listening to the singing. The singing was really good but the style of playing was spot on. I can tell when a piano player has formal training and is very strict in their method of playing. Jerry Lee was not formally trained and that allowed him to develop his own style and allow him to never play a song the exact same way every time he would play it. With all this being said. Jacob has a God given talent and let me stress that he is not a Jerry Lee Imitator. To say this would would diminish the hard work Jacob has put in to taking his own natural ability and mix it with a little of Jerry Lee's method of playing and create his own style. Obviously people see Jerry Lee when they see Jacob play, but if you look closely at Jacobs playing you can see he took some of Jerry Lee and mixed it with a lot of Jacob! Well done young man!

How can he be eliminated off that crapshow? It’s simple-he actually has talent. They go for looks and sob stories (“my grandma’s dog died a year ago today, and it really affected me, and inspired me to start writing crappy songs and singing off key”).

As I recall they agreed he was awesome but they were concerned about versatility. I think that's bogus to eliminate someone because they *think* he can't be versatile. His performance earned him a spot. That kind of bogus is one of a number of reasons I don't watch the show anymore. They'll eliminate this guy and pass through someone because they have a sad or inspirational story. Horse hockey!!!

Right! And I probably shouldn't even agree to that statement on 'modern' music because I quit listening to what was being played as current about 20, 25-ish years ago and never bothered tuning in again. I just kept listening to what I knew. What I knew was good. Rest in peace, Killer. I'm sure you've made quite the stir amongst the angels since your arrival on that golden strand, and I wouldn't expect anything less.

As far as the million dollar quartet, yes, But we still have Don Everly, Dion and some others like Jerry Allison, though he was a drummer, he is the last of Buddy Holly and the crickets member.

Awesome, I loved that look between Jerry lee and Kenny as the guitar solo ended, that's L O V E, they've been playing together for over 50 years, what a great partnership......As Jerry said 'Kenny really knows how to Get it, get it and get it some more, musically speaking'....Congrats to The Killer and The World's number 1 Rock n Roll fiddle player Kenny, thanks for all the music you've given to us, much live and respect.

I remember seeing Jacob's video at the hardware store, he rocks the piano. I'm old enough to cry when Chuck Berry died, others of my generation. Grew up with Jerry Lee. Am so glad to see youngsters inspired by the good music and carry on the tradition!!

Jacob . I'm positive l saw that video and thought ...young upstart trying to out do the "Killler!" It is absolutely terrific to see you at the party! Without letting the cat out of the bag your killing the killer! And he's enjoying every second ! I could see in Jerry Lee' s eyes he was looking in a mirror of himself hammering those keys into oblivion! No better tribute could be made. And that's something to share with your grandchildren in years to come ! Thankyou .

WOW! You know just how much this must have meant to Jerry? To see someone as young as he was when he was discovered, play his music with so much zest, enthusiasm, and vigor? I can tell you now, as a man nearing the end of lifes journey, seeing Jacob perform Jerries music like that justified Jerries entire journey, and gave that mans life meaning. To Jacob; Everything happens, even you and Jerry entering eachothers lives, for a reason. Your dedication to not only Jerries work, but to Jerry himself, gave that mans life a meaning he spent many years looking for. God knew Jerry meeting someone who loved Jerries work as much as you do, would let a good man die without regret, and in peace. Your love of his work justified his existence, so you two were destined to meet, so both of you could find happiness in this lifetime. Your a Saint Jacob Tolliver, and I want you to know Jerry loved you as his own son. God bless you both, Jacob Tolliver and Jerry Lee Lewis...
