"sigma" is a compliment. Alpha is leader of the pack, beta is a follower. sigma is an independent type who doesn't need a follower, it basically popped up when MRAs started to realize that there are cool fictional male characters that don't have followers (James Bond, John Wick, etc) but they wanted to pretend to be them, too, so they needed a word for it.

I used to work in an arcade and we had the cut 2 win game as well. Basically it is preset to win after a certain amount of tries. You would still have to get it close to the string, but if it isn’t set to win yet it will go further or not close enough to it. So people do win, but every 100/500 etc. uses, whatever they set it to. So if you ever see any staff just ask if someone has won it recently. Most of the claw machines are preset the same way.

I cleared out a cicis claw machine for my nephews birthday and taught the littles how to get toys. I trained them to stand on either side of the machine and tell me if I'm lined up right. @JNB520 one of the big tricks is to check the claws. Most machines have loose claws that won't pick up anything at all or anything past a certain weight. From there, you just pick the right size toy in the best location to pick it up. Most machines won't work, so when you find one that does, GO FOR IT
