Wow, Narita looks so much different now than when I came to Japan a year ago. Really cool to see. I remember i had to be in quarantine in the airport for over 6 hours, and then 3 days at a quarantine hotel. Nice to see the process has improved for foreigners since then.

If you feel like you can do it, you should do it !! I was in japan solo for the last three weeks, and it was so much fun. I'm sure solo travelling isn't everyone's cup of tea, but personally speaking, I found it to be very enjoyable.

Mannnn i miss japan. I went back in 2016 when i was 11 years old and it was hands down the best trip in my life. Insane brief story i ended up being in a movie with some University film students in Osaka, unfortunately never managed to find it online anywhere. Absolutely crazy if i do say so myself ykwis

a LOT of people wonder why the USA doesn't have a central train system like other places: time is why. It took you a less amount of time to fly to Japan, than it would for me to take an Amtrak train from where I am in Colorado to where I was born in Indiana. Look at it on a map, and it doesn't look too far, right? It's over 1200 miles for my trip. Fastest train I can find is 20 hours. It also costs around 120$ for just me. If a regional flight is 1/4 that time, and only costs me double. You can see where I am going with this. Too many countries fail to understand how BIG the USA really is. Also, at 20:16 I like that they say consuming YOUR OWN alcohol is prohibited. You can consume alcohol, but only if you buy it from them.

I transited at Narita in 2015 travelling to the USA. Most awesome airport experience ever, so quiet and efficient at processing crowds, and friendly staff too. I noticed there was an entire store dedicated exclusively to "Mevius" (formerly Mild 7) cigarettes as I wandered around, not to mention smoker's lounges everywhere in the international terminal.

I have never traveled that distance on a plane most was 1 and a half hrs, gees when you got off in Canada it must have been cold judging by the vapour from ya breath. That is one thing I haven't done is had a piss at 10 KM up in the air, but it is very hard doing it on a train. The bad suspension and rocking around and it is every where but the dunny.
