90% Rider Ability! Bad Riders always blame the Machinery!!- Good Riders make any old Machine look Quick! - Not many can make the Big Red Pig Fly So High!! The XR600r is a Great Machine, You took it way out of its Comfort Zone, But it looked like it Handled the MX Track quite well! You must have the Suspension Dialed Right in! Great to see Someone Showcase what you can do with these Great old Bikes- If you have enough Talent! - Respect! - Cheers 👍🇦🇺

Well now I don't need to spend £4000 on an old Maico. I can buy an XR and actually enjoy running it with plenty beer at the end to numb the pain. Brilliant review.

I loved this video. People are quick to tell you what you can't do, you showed what you can do. I am getting old and I mostly do half speed laps on the Motocross Track and 3/4 speed laps on the Hare Scrambles and Enduro stuff. I was looking for a bike that I can just do it all on, basically a bike to just turn laps on (I have a garage full of old 2-Strokes, but they are tiring) and told some buddies that I was looking for an old Honda XR600. First thing they did was tell me What I Can't Do (can't ride an MX track). Thank you for this video.

That is so cool to see you out there jumping and running that old girl. The sound of that big thumper passing those high strung purpose built bikes is great. I love it. She may not corner as well but there is no doubt, she will out run them missed shifts and all. It does an old guy good to hear that thumper out there working. And working well. I laughed when she slapped your ass for screwing up. She has personality, the newer bikes cant claim that. And, she is fast. Like you said, good job. Well done to you both.

I had both a KX500 and still have my old XR600. They both had a lot in common, actually. Except that the KX just started getting lively when the XR signed off. But just grab another gear with the XR and all that torque put you right back in the game. So much torque everywhere...
