I was super lost inside a void of addiction homelessness and hopelessness when I first heard this. Years ago I watched this video and it gave so many words where I only had silent pain an outlet if you will. This brings so many emotions....watching it now. This expression of love and pain and loss and mess and obsession and the raw bleeding pouring out the emotions I felt...I needed it. I needed to know I was not alone. In that moment years ago you gave me that. Thanks bro, many blessings. Sober since October 2018.

IAM an empath, also a poet , song writer. Words are my only way to filter all the energy that comes through me daily. I like that you are so honest an raw with expressing that you will not use your talent to please the mainstream. It's about more then the fame right?? As we say in poetry GOOD INK!! My heart is weak Tear it down piece by piece Leave me to think Deep in my structure I think I still love her But I need some sleep You've taken my breath away Now I want to breathe Cause I cannot see what you can see So easily Leave me in peace Caught in my memories Lost underneath Deep in my structure I feel a rupture From where she should be You've taken my breath from me Now I want to breathe Cause I cannot see what you can see So easily I thought my demons were almost defeated But you took their side And you pull them to freedom They know my secrets and won't let me go Won't let me go I thought my demons were almost defeated But you took their side And you pull them to freedom I kept your secrets and I thought that You would do the same Location: Queensland, Australia Thats my view.

Hey man, recently I was faced with one of the most traumatizing experiences of my life and not too much later I found all of your music. All of your songs resonate with me to my core, at first I had trouble listening to the songs because I was so hurt. Slowly I've been improving and your songs are slowly becoming a source of strength. No one has so accurately articulated how I felt, including myself. I really hope you achieve your goals with your music and that it is spread across the world, because I feel like everyone needs to hear it, otherwise they are missing out.

Facts! When you hear a song and just feel heard without having to speak. It'd such a relief. Music is evidence that you're not alone in any feeling or circumstance and can help express and process emotions and words in ways you couldn't without the music. Music is a universal, and I believe healing, language.

I can only come back to listen to this song every once in awhile because it’s so heartbreakingly beautiful & relatable that when I hear it, I feel an emotional pain so intense it’s almost physical… like this heavy sinking sensation in my chest, a lump in my throat, my vocalizing muscles tighten… & I can wind up in a pretty despondent state. So, I have to practice conscious self-awareness, self-honesty, & self-care… choosing to only enjoy this melancholy masterpiece on occasion, preferably while feeling emotionally resilient. But boy, the artist certainly presented a swoon-worthy aesthetic in this video.

Almost 3 years back I was in the hospital for a while. Alone in a room with no one to talk to, even though a friend and my mum came to visit, a half hour went by so easily with them. I only had a few songs downloaded on my phone and this was one of them. I spend all day listening to this song for days. I changed phones and never found this song again but I just knew that I had to find it somehow. So for the past hour I tried to remember anything else than just a part of the melody and then bom bom boooom I remembered the name, though it still took some searching because the Imagine dragons song was more known. I'm just so glad that I found this song again, it's a really beautiful and calming song that gives a certain comfort which isn't easily found. Thank you :)

When i was lost, depressed, defeated i met a girl. We got close through our earlier heartbreaks. She made me open up and share things that i didn't even let myself know. We weren't meant to be together she knew it and so did i. But when she left, she pushed me back to the place where i once was and never wanted to be again. Drowning in pain and sorrow, battling my demons, i sit here listening to this song. The fucking irony of it is she was the one who shared this song with me. If you read this, i still wish you well. Hope you are happy now. Thanks for all the memories and also for this song. X

Kindred spirits find & recognize one another on a much deeper level. There isn't a label to even give it justice. Not soul mate, not even twin Flames. Its pure empathy ,& no matter how horrible that pain is they both forget about their Imdividual suffering they do.t want the other to hurt anymore so thsts what they do for one another thru pure unconditional.al love..not because they are friends. Family because they are souls & our souls get just as broken if not more. Our souls have no defenses against our pain & scars They are translucent. Shear energy than we than our he but gee seek out to heal it. That's the sad part. Because without a loving soul "who are we: It the recognition of two souls who reflect our need to heal and the sadness is there are no guarantees of any thing else coming afterwards. This song hits home. And going through a relationship with a toxic recovering man. He doesn’t know who he is. And I really never did either. I haven’t had time to be me at all. I realized that I need to work on myself as well. Never allow people to treat you that way. Abuse is abuse. Verbal. Physical. It is what it is. It shouldn’t be tolerated. I miss him all of the time. But it’s better to work on me. Stand up for yourself. Don’t ever let someone try to tear you down. Your problems are your own. Not someone else’s. Focus. Learn. Learn to trust, and most of all love. But do it for yourself first. Always.

It eases into the complexities of inner turmoil, betrayal, and the quest for understanding, painting a story of emotional struggle through a lyrical weave surrounded by a smooth flowing sound. It portrays the vulnerability of being weakened by emotional connections and the sense of betrayal by a trusted individual who aligns with one's inner conflicts instead of aiding in their resolution. Through the lyrical journey, it captures the essence of seeking peace amidst chaos, and the longing for clarity and freedom from the shackles of one's own demons.

Dragged me through the court system over and over ,when my children turned 14 took me to court got them to live with him ,his current wife ,her children..I paid child support for 4 years ,med copays and a house I no longer have.I am still paying on that as I type I got a text from him telling me to make sure I pay him this month plus my stimulus check ..he took me to court where the judge took his side again.I live in a small town where I am the only Indian American nothing has been fair here. The devil works overtime and as I type this I am battling the virus ,got a positive test yesterday and have all the symptoms. I remember finding you when you appeared on the voice in 2014. I struggle with serious mental health problems as well as addiction. I am 23 years old and I fell in love with your music your talent and you as a person and I was only 14. I’m now sitting in rehab trying to better myself as I’m losing hope in life but out of no where this song comes up in my suggestions…. I am so proud of how far you’ve come and you continue to make music as you are someone I have admired for so long. I hope my comment reaches you because you are helping me through my worst of times. Thankyou 💞💞

You are extremely talented, you have an excellent voice, you are so charming and so handsome, you deserve much more fans than you already have, when I saw your song on my recommendations and clicked it your voice literally made me fall in love with it in a second, you're a diamond that's really hard to find and I'm so happy that I found a talented musician like you. Lots of love 😘 I hope you'll get the appreciation and fame you deserve in a close future
