Jacques Cousteau was a French naval officer, explorer, conservationist, filmmaker, innovator, scientist, photographer, author and researcher who studied the sea and all forms of life in water. One great man.

One of my three inspirations that have led me to go to college and major in marine biology. The other two are Jean-Michel Cousteau (Jacques Cousteau's son) and Stephen Hillenburg.

The droll surprises in Patrick's animation. I haven't been on here for a while, but the underwater TV... always a delight. (You could make a special on just the behind the scenes and show the animation storyboards and I would not say no...

Being alone, it can be quite romantic, like Jacques Cousteau underneath the Atlantic. A fantastic voyage, to parts unknown, going to depths where the sun's never shone, and I fascinate myself, should I do when I'm alone.

In my country we just knew him as custo' the great ocean explorer. How sad that "we will never go back to normal again" but the ones having the greater hope of the future are those who rely on God the Lord. Be well.

At 3:46 you have the divers hop off the boat with a little butt jump that would have their air tanks smack the railing. Divers fall backwards off boats don't they? Heavy back-mounted equipment first?

Cousteau is a legend!!!!!!! But... "Atlantis nesos", as Plato reported. The "Island of Atlantis"... it never was a contintent, despite modern people's misconceptions. Plato was rather clear on Atlantis' location (the Azores being the mountain tops of the sunken island in the extremely volatile Mid-Atlantic-Rim (MAR) region where 3 continental plates meet, of which we've explored 2% by 2010). And just like with the British Empire, you have a main island....and yet lots of colonies all around the world... something to consider. It was only after the pseudo-scientific "Atlantis: Fact or Fiction" book from 1978 representing mainstream science who "debunked" the Atlantis myth and made a definitive statement that no "continent" could've existed in the MAR region.... they said this in 1978...and again, by 2010 we've explored 2% of the MAR....and 5% of the world's oceans... and supposed "scientists" were making definitive statements about the MAR in 1978... "ending the debate once and for all" ...with pseudo-science, straw man and stick man arguments.

I don't think a day can start in the evening a day needs to start in the morning. Because it's like you don't need the day to start the afternoon you need the day to start in the morning that's right the morning is the most important thing of the day you know?. And I think he might have made a mistake there so yeah.
@Jupiterplays6 жыл бұрын
I think he was trying to say that they normally start planning the day before the day starts itself. Like some kind of precaution, I guess the reason is because in the middle of the ocean you can't lose daylight, it's very important to do all the tasks you need before the sunset, so you gotta plan it really well one night before.
