Creating a Pinterest moodboard is how I start EVERY new brand.
It's a way to get clear on what the brand needs, current trends and wipes away the fear of starting with a total blank screen.
BUT there's an art to it - you need to know what terms to search and what descriptive words to give to them. PLUS you need to know how to cull out everything that isn't needed.

Do you recommend using multiple terms in a Pinterest search? For example, "calm and hopeful graphic design" or is it better to search each term individually?

It’s totally up to what works! I usually prefer to stick to one word, but that’s not to say it’s the only way :) try that search term and if it produces results that you like - then you’re onto a winner! We just have to be careful of getting too specific that results cease to exist for that term :)

Obsessed with your content recently, and your website!! May I ask whether if you use WordPress for your website and your video editing tool. From all the people on KZbin your content has helped me tremendously with brand design and you practice what you preach which makes you standout.

Thank you for your encouragement :) I currently use Squarespace for my website but about to relaunch in Showit. My video editor uses Premier to edit, and I used to use Final Cut. I don’t think it matters what software in the end though, they mostly all do the same thing.
