My sister and I were taken in by two lovely women and tonight for one of our mothers birthday she decided to ask if they would adopt her! I'm so happy to be apart of this amazing family :)

My mother and her partner just announced they are getting married, and my soon-to-be step dad told me he would also like to adopt me, even if I'm an adult. He came into my life when I was 14 and has been amazing since then, while my father has never been there for me, and I haven't spoken to him in 5 years. So now I'm here bawling my eyes out. Congrats on everything!

Seeing her name Jada made me think of one day meeting my daughter JaLynn, sons Jordan and Justin whom were adopted out in 2006. I've been on Facebook and registries putting the information out hoping one day they'll search their birth names or DOB. My son Jordan turned 18 this month, JaLynn turned 15 in Oct and Justin turned 13 in April. I miss them dearly.
