Become Un-Frikin’ Stoppable and Build Your Dream Life bit.ly/3SZF9gU
If you've ever accepted blame that wasn’t yours, sacrificed yourself for the “greater good”, or felt like the cards were stacked against you, this episode of Women of Impact featuring the ONE and ONLY Jada Pinkett Smith is for you!
Jada is here sharing the MANY frikin’ HARD lessons she learned along her journey to help you GET BACK UP when life knocks you down. From “The Entanglement”, to “The Slap”, to “The Eyeroll that MADE Him Do It”, Jada has taken hit after hit but she has more love, confidence, and self-acceptance than EVER before.
And today we’re going deep to talk about the adversities she has faced and why she’s actually GRATEFUL for it!
We’re talking about:
- How relationships and love are a PRACTICE
- Why you MUST stop expecting society’s romanticized and idealistic beliefs to be true
- The difference between making a Sacred Sacrifice and self-betrayal
- How having the courage to be disliked by others leads to self-love
- Why you need to focus on making decisions where you can look in the mirror and feel frikin’ PROUD of yourself
So, if you've ever accepted blame that wasn’t yours, sacrificed yourself for the “greater good”, or felt like the cards were stacked against you, Jada’s wisdom in this episode will speak to YOU, homie!

🔥A-MAZING QUOTES FROM JADA:
"I'm really grateful for all of the adversity that I've had because it's really helped cure self judgment.”
“Once we really know who we are and are willing and have the courage to do the work, to really find out who and what we are, we start to realize that all the daggers that come from other people is their self judgment projected onto your self judgment."
"At the end of the day, we have all the control to change whatever we need within ourselves to have the lives that we want. So the moment that we're willing to stop worrying about what other people are doing, and we're focusing on what are those things within myself that I need to change to help me have the life that I want to have, help me be the person that I want to be - that's when things start clicking, that's when things start rolling."
"I feel like we're all addicts in one way or another. Every single person you'll ever meet, it's like, but what are we addicted to, right? And a lot of us are addicted to our psychological cycles, right?"
"I had to just start getting more real and start breaking down these romanticized, idealistic ideas of what I wanted my life to look like."
"...it doesn't matter how much money you make, how much success you have, how much fame you have, you're not exempt from being a human being. You're not exempt from the pain of human relating. You're still a human being. That's it."
"How somebody thinks about me honestly has nothing to do with me. If my kids were going out here and saying the things that other people are saying who don't know me, then I'd be concerned."
“Whatever is calling your soul, answer those calls and have the courage to be disliked. Have the courage to be disliked because if you don't have the courage to be disliked, you will never self actualize, specifically as a woman, because you're going to have to do some shit that people ain't going to like."

If you’re judging Jada… look in the mirror. I have a very similar experience to some of Jadas experience especially in marriage and also see things the same she does… so few people understand where she’s coming from. It’s a meta view and if you are feeling challenged or triggered or disgusted by her… there is some work in you that needs some attention. I was blamed for our marriage in how our marriage came apart but only because they didn’t know the behind the scenes of his part in it… and it goes deep. I wasn’t going to put his stuff out there to help people understand but I did encumber the blame and judgment for it and he knew. He even asked what can he do to move forward and start fresh and I told him “be honest”. People don’t like honest because it shatters their world and really turns it upside down. Instead they get nasty. I agree with the “betraying self” to be sacrificing bit and how that can really work against you. It can be the source of a lot of challenges and issues.

Thank you so much for this point of view. I wholeheartedly agree that we do not know what goes on behind close doors and so I felt her transparency with it actually is helpful to other women who are suffering in silence.

@@LisaBilyeu Thank you for this... "suffering in silence" is exactly what it is because of the stigma and judgment wives face when navigating marital issues unconventionally to resolve issues, especially during separation and/or divorce that is unannounced. It's a process marital couples work through even during the "uncoupling" phase and does not always result in a clean break apart. Thank you 🙏 for allowing some of us to have a voice through Jada.

I like Jada. I like Will. I like that they are able to come together and support each other when needed and yet still stand in their own truths. I think Jada is brilliant. I've been married (currently going through a cruel divorce), I know its hard. I don't know why everyone blames her for everything and then says nothing about how flawless her skin is glowing. From the outside looking in, to me, she is very savvy and much stronger than I could endure.

I feel like women learn love lessons too late because many of us are hyper-sexualized by our early teen years. Sometimes even younger. By people around that age as well as adults. But we’re expected to know what we’re doing in these situations, or told that we “asked for” things to happen. The only way we learn at that age is if we’re taught the truth, rather than the gaslighting many of us receive as teachings that we eventually need to unlearn.

I dunno. I haven't watched the show, I'm trying to watch some clips now to actually have something to say about this, but that's kind of tedious. So I'm not prepared to debate this entire topic, however, these clips just seem like people talking about very personal things that are likely to be judged and ripped apart by most audiences. That show looks like the airing of dirty laundry, which done by a celebrity seems like an experiment in the limits of entertainment/pop culture. Which is what? An experiment in what tracks with popular audiences and how much the general public can appreciate people being vulnerable? I don't see that as wildly controversial. People don't do great things, people hurt people, and people are trying to get through this life. I don't see much else going on in those clips other than her/them being honest about deeply personal things. What I do see here is a public audience that is eager to tear a "misbehaving" woman down. Same thing with Yoko Ono, Roxane, Britney Spears (before it became cool to pity Britney), and others. Read the book "Trainwreck" there is a pattern here that is all about judging women for misbehaving, it's a power dynamic in our society and people feed off of it and gain a sense of superiority from it, and control women with it, and I think that's why Jada is a guest on this youtube channel, to say f*ck all that.@@typical_snowflake

Jada publicly sharing her journey to radical worthiness is incredibly honorable. I am in deep gratitude for bearing witness to her journey through her inner world. - When you begin your inner work or shadow work, Jada’s wisdom will begin to make sense and you will know that she is dropping gems to help you on your path. - To all the judgmental people - Ask yourself; in your world, have you done anything that you regret? or wish you did different? Has someone seen you in a negative light because of a choice you made? If so, how did it make you feel when you were judged about it? Ponder on those questions honestly….Because once you narrow it down to your own human experiences, you will see that Jada is also human and the only difference between you and her is her shadows are in the public eye. Ask yourself how would you be if all your shadows were in the public eye? Fame doesn't exempt you from being a human being.

I agree. It’s very telling when people desperately demand that you feel the way they feel about people they don’t even know. Especially when it comes to Black women. I experience it often and I’m nobody, but I walk into rooms and I immediately see some people clench up, start whispering to their buddies while glaring at me. It’s very calculated behavior and speaks to their own perceptions of my phenotype as well as their insecurities. We’re all capable of discernment, we’re all capable of willful ignorance, and we’re all capable of being manipulated. It’s on each of us to make choices from there. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Jada is a powerful woman. She breaks the norms. She is very self-aware and have worked a great deal on herself. I do have a great admiration for her. She is true and authentic. She has reached low; and contemplated all other avenues to elevate herself. I believe it’s the reason WILL loves her deeply. She has such wisdom that if we listen carefully, we will be blessed with her journey. A woman of great courage. She has yearned for a better self and have found it through betrayal of herself. She doesn’t blame anyone. She looked inward However a real transformation it’s repentance to Self-acceptance/forgiveness. Of course society has lied, manipulated, alienated us about LOVE. Yes when we lost our ways, the only way to grow is to acknowledge that we got it wrong, so wrong that adultery it’s a cry for intervention… If fundamentally the relationship was not base on True love, it will always crumble. Jada is so intelligent and resilient to admit that. It will be so inspiring to hear that from her ❤

Listen and then meditate on this. Lisa knows. I was going to skip but you need to give Jada a chance. We are hyper focused in judging. I realized I was being a hypocrite if I would have passed on this. I always advise people to think for themselves. Listen first.

The fact that you’ve given this narcissistic abusive woman a platform to speak on a women empowerments channel is vile. The amount of abuse she has publicly shown and she is still applauded is staggering and I’m honestly disappointed.

I’m even more curious now because I keep looking it up and it seems that people think she’s a narcissist for not telling the world she and her husband were separated. I still don’t get it. I mean will smith has been banging young Hollywood actresses for a hot minute so why is she the narcissist?
@DaughterofDiogenes

I think it’s interesting because she’s out here speaking and he’s just being quiet and everyone is now calling her a narc. I don’t know I’m just wondering if you’ve got something other than what that one dude on KZbin said.
@Hannah-th2ib
@Hannah-th2ib 3 ай бұрын
@@DaughterofDiogenes she’s publicly humiliated and embarrassed her husband on a regular basis for years. Called another man her soulmate - imagine the backlash a man would have doing this. She also made him publicly apologise to everyone for throwing her a birthday party (that he spent 3 years planning) and called him selfish for doing so. She’s known to go back and forth on their relationship status when it benefits her. She had s*x with her sons friend while married and blamed it on Will being immature and doubled down when he was visibly uncomfortable because she talked about it publicly. If you watch the entire clip of Will slapping Chris rock she laughs after. She allowed her daughter at 13 to have an intimate relationship with a 23 year old man and encouraged her son to move out at 14 because he was ‘ready’. Also encouraged her kids to take psychedelics like ayuhasca. There is a video online of Jada putting a camera into Wills face and asking him to speak on something to do with their private relationship and he says ‘don’t just start filming me without asking me’ and under her breath she says “oh my goodness” clearly annoyed and says she’s dealing with foolishness talking about him. It’s degrading and emasculating and he’s clearly uncomfortable and she just carries on. There is so so much more and it’s all public information but considering she’s a nut case I’m going to say all of this was alleged.

Have we been gaslighted…….she is a good role model to,women who want to stay single ..not for a family woman or wife…as that she has failed in my eyes…traumatised kids and her husband with her selfishness ..if she did not want to be married she should get divorced…all this mess is due to her lack of bravery to be honest and walk…yet she was a gutsy drug dealer..I so want to like her….its hard
