I'm rewatching this myself and funnily enough Jadaba still had a chance to win even between his "explain this bullshit" and actually quitting. He has a robo in his base just start pumping Immortals and put the stalkers behind the mineral line at his natural. There was no access point there for Ultras so they could free shoot. Anyway, griping at this old game is pointless but it's just an interesting observation I had rewatching this.

@LifesAGlitchTV what the zerg was doing was the Fisher Hook build made popular by Spanishiwa where you defend with Queens/Spines/Lings and then grab all 4 gas at the same time while droning heavily, however he was doing a terrible job at it by keeping minerals on standby for Spinecrawlers when those minerals could have been used for tech and such. Could have also done a better job at scouting to know when to save up.

While it isn't a generally applicable strategy, it might work in certain cases for Zerg. If you have more bases than your opponent and can deny them expansions while holding your own, you can stockpile resources & larvae and pull a FiretoBlaze, rebuilding your army almost instantly after they force an engagement. Your opponent would need to be very cost-effective to win since they'll be engaging another 200/200 army within 1-2 minutes. I.e. you're giving yourself more room for error later on.

Reminds me of a 4v4 I had. Two of us rushed for ultras, one of us massed medivacs and vikings, and the other pooled money to us ultralisk makers and spread creep. With about 40 ultralisks getting healed by medivacs, the other team didnt stand a chance.
