Jae's Jazz Picks | Jazz Appreciation Month

Considering April is Jazz Appreciation Month and April 30th is International Jazz Day, Sinnet in Session host Jae Sinnett was asked to pick out three of his favorite jazz recordings and say a few words about each.
Jae picked out four. Ha! Picking out three or four out of hundreds is of course difficult. He decided to select a few recordings that were certainly influential in some way to his development as a jazz musician and jazz appreciator but generally, you probably wouldn't see most of these outstanding recordings listed in top jazz pick categories.

Wow! I thought I was the only who remembered that George Adams record. Beautiful album. Kenny Wheeler was on that session. Richie Beirach played so wonderful piano on that too.
