I remember watching KSL and early ASL series. There were many interesting builds clashing against each other. One ASL, the zerg used burrow lings against a terran early. You never knew what strategical upsets could come up. Nowadays, especially in zvp, it's clearly mapped out. It's either Hydra or muta for zerg (and then eventually defiler). It's either Gateways or double startgate for p (and then eventually storm). In the end one or the other player wins but it doesn't mean anything.

anyways, I have come to the conclusion that this is mostly the difference between ladder and asl (offline) games. In chess, too, you can play your everyday laddering, but for specific offline tournaments, pro-players prepare specific strategies.

JD kyprotnite has always been bisu he just can't beat bisu for some reason JD is too agro he doesnt know when to stop attacking he throws away too many units
