Perhaps Soulkey wants to practice for SSL, but doesn't want to play as Zerg on the ladder, since his playstyle in tournaments involves so much misdirection? Also recall that Sharp even thanked Soulkey for practicing with him (in his winner's interview after beating Hero), and that Sharp can analyze Soulkey's bo7 series vs. Light, too. So maybe Soulkey doesn't want to leak any more of his ZvT playstyle and strategies to Sharp, and thus when his practice partners for the finals are unavailable, he plays offrace on the ladder.

Soulkey was so good with Marine, Medic, Science vessel that they should name that composition after him. I like "SK" terran, has a nice ring to it.

Your comment/criticism is nonsensical. If you don’t like this particular content, then simply don’t watch it. I personally really enjoyed watching these, they are “actual” HIGH-level games from the best player in the world right now, regardless if he’s off-racing. It’s interesting to inquire whether he might attempt to play random in the future, as flash did; and it’s only natural to wonder if he’s overlooking sharp, as the finals for the biggest tournament in StarCraft are right around the corner. That commentary was one small part in an almost 2 hour long cast. I can only imagine that you must be miserable in your own life to be making random negative YT comments like this, so I hope things get better for you. Either that or you’re just a weirdo
