Lol this movie was a flop cause of unnecessary strech of the release date + the actors were going through a breakup phase so their promotional events were so painful to watch cause they always started fighting for no reason. That's why it didn't attract the audience. No need to blame audience for every reason🤦🏻‍♀️

The trailer didn't do the story justice and the promotion events also didn't tell us what they are trying potrait cause they were busy fighting so obviously they goona choose the other one. That how you engage the audience. Just cause they didn't do their part properly doesn't mean there is something wrong with audience or their faltu🤦🏻‍♀️

I heard that Jagga Jasoos was supposed to be a trilogy. But, since the first film did not work out, they did not continue. Anurag delayed the movie significantly and had not released it for a while. Rishi Kapoor even publically called him out on it. This made him rush to finish the film, which could have been slightly improved. The songs, cinematography, screenplay, and acting, were awesome. Anurag Basu is a creative genius. I wish he got the appreciation he deserves at the box office. Then he could continue making original content and not sequels like Life in a Metro 2

Ohhhhh great movie, very underrated! Awesome choice 😁👍 If I may give other suggestions: many of us want to see reactions to old classics 🙏😊 Sholay (curry western) is a must see obviously. Then other epics like Mother India (drama), Mayabazar (fantasy comedy/romance/folktale) etc. I'm sure Andrew would be very interested to discover older movies that are part of Indian cinematographic history 🙂 And some suggestions for contemporary stuff: *Okkadu* iconic action romance (telugu, later remade in tamil and hindi because of its popularity, Mahesh Babu's best movie IMO) *Aadai* drama thriller (also very underrated) *Ishqiya* thriller with Vidya Balan *Romancham* horror comedy, one of the biggest Malayalam hit last year (Achara should see it because she is knowledgeable about ghosts lol) *Viduthalai* political thriller/cop drama (one of the best of 2023)
