I mean I get the gist and I'm all for equality, but recruitment drive's "puzzle" part of the story is that he cannot be defeated by any man, so I thought it was a clever idea to have to change to a women for the quest just so you could finish it. A very small mechanic that people don't really know about it utilised here, although some may say it's tedious since they don't want to waste time changing their gender. I thought it was a clever twist.

What i don’t understand is why they are just removing quest continuity, there’s certain things that just dont make any sense at all and are just less interesting and clever now. Sure it was kinda weird for male and female ham members to have differing thieving reqs, but changing the “no man can defeat me” or not making you marry the miscellania people just removes continuity and makes the quest just make no sense, or at the very least just a bit more boring just because 10 people on reddit complained about it.
