I got mine in December 2018 and I still have it. It has driven 75 K km and the battery degradation is about 10%. I hope to be able to drive it for at least 5 more years. The design is incredible. Everytime I see it it brings a smile to my face.

Miguel, dude! Those guns are getting huge.😂 You’re really bulking up. My guy, I’ve been driving my Toyota bZ4x for a few months now. It has no frunk. I love the torque and how quiet it is. Range and charging times are poor. I think my next car will be a hybrid plugin. BEV’s aren’t environmentally friendly. It’s a scam and I think perpetrated by EU. Insurance carriers are very weary of EV’s and total them if they get in a wreck so rates have risen. Charging infrastructure has not improved and only home charging is optimal. Here in America, EV sales have tanked. Too expensive and too inconvenient. A toy for the rich. Cheers!

Hi Peter! Yes! As I mention in the video, for an EV to be financially viable for most people, 3 things need to line up: 1-Charging infrastructure that’s cheap ($0.15-$0.20) 2-Government incentives to help reduce the very high up front cost (which should be much lower) 3-We need clarity on the environmental impact of EV batteries and if there’s any way to recycle them. As for insurance companies, the whole system needs to be revamped if EV’s turn out to be very expensive to fix. Yeah, the bZ4x is not the best of electric vehicles 😅. For now PHEV are the way to go for most people! Thank you for watching!
