Thanks For all the Support! This video im taking the subframe out and getting ready to build new frame rails, and move the sub frame ahead as well as lowering the car over 2" !!

Your a brave man !!!! moving 6 inches forward the geomentry will totally change get your measuring right (with a laser) and hopefully it will be fine . Good look man very interesting . jim uk.

Loving it. Wherever you make your cut the chassis leg obviously needs to be strengthened. if you can get box section to slip inside the car chassis all the better, if not make your own up. Good work though.

The best advice I can give you is not to take any advice I give because I don’t know 💩about building custom cars. But take advice from guys that do. I will just be along for the show.

Hi mate great as usual 👍 Not sure on that method? much more fabrication for the sub frame points rather than just to of left it attached to is original fixings , if I was tackling that I'd of cut it off from the back end of the strut tower made a jig to support and square it all off in its new location , then set about the task of structural engineering the inner wings back , that's always the bit to be concerned about putting that strength back were its needed however your a good fabricator you can do that with ease dood , Either way love this build really differant to allot about at the moment hope you grow your subs on the way .

It’s a real shame to cut a jaguar up, but I love this project and it’s probably never been done before. Great videos 👍🏻

I would not feel the least bit of guilty for cutting the Jaguar up. Here is Sothern California I have literally seen hundreds of them in self service wrecking yards. Most are fully intact, not wrecked (or rusted) but junked non the less simply because the cost to repair them is so high. Recently I spoke to a Jaguar owner who said it cost him $2,500 to have his CATs replaced because they must be California Certified CATS. Mercedes Benz, Audi's, Volvo's all suffer the same "too costly to repair" fate. Those are replete in the self serve wrecking yards too. Your project is very interesting. You have the right blend of motivation but are willing to admit the struggles. Not like that "B is for Build" guy who every time he does something acts like he is an expert 15 minutes into the project.

I would cut the front off at the rad support put piece in there so your hood and everything will fit

All looks good. Time to consider engine and trans placement. The 302 oil pan is either front or rear sump. Will it clear sub and steering? Exhaust routing? Firewall mods? A lot to consider all at once. Keep on keeping on.
