5 months later, I would take a guess at the new damper making a similar noise. The reasons the damper fails is due to faulty engine mount/mounts. Excessive vibrations ruin the damper. Great video tho🎉

We had the engine mounts changed and the dampers and we're back to square one. All rattling again a few months later

Make sure to order correct part with correct hz I have just replaced mine today, I didn't have a rattle like this but more of slight vibration from exhaust (not sure if this is how they run after staring ) however like this video I was surprised how much play was still in the new dampner as the one to the right is solid.

I changed one and 5 months later i think the other one start playing, because similar noise come back, when engage D . I Don think so the engine months have some issue , because engine is very smooth when start, and use start stop is not causing any vibration to the body of the car.

I had this problem replaced dampers twice, I then came to the conclusion that the active engine mounts were gone and shaking the dampers to failure, new engine mounts cured the issue, car drives like new.

My Dad's Car Exhaust Shaked When It Turned Off
