Had my 380 XE-S a good year and half. Amazing car. Sounds great. Took me a good 6 months to find her. Nearly bought a grey one but wanted her in blue with all the extras. I eventually found the perfect one. 😁

I’ve had one after a 2ld and it is truly amazing. I can relax or hoon like a teenager and have booked a few track days with it. It is so relaxing to drive in adaptive cruise mode and then put it in dynamic “S” mode and she just takes off (if it had wings). Yes I’m a pensioner with attitude lol. I’ve owed some awesome bikes and awesome cars too. Believe it or not the best was a Saab 900 turbo.

Great review, thanks for this. I too have the XE-S 380 on a 17 plate with the 20" 'Propellers' and I love it! It's a real 'Q' car, understated but growls and snarls very loudly when it's poked! I'll be hanging onto mine as it's a keeper and a rarity with the 3.0L Supercharged V6, a future classic. Tip: I would look at replacing the Pirelli tyres with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s when the time comes, better tyres, better wet weather performance and better traction, ...and a tank of Super unleaded once in a while!

Alankb1 - I have the the Portfolio model, with petrol 240 engine on a 65 Plate - can you advise which 'muffler' you replaced the back boxes with, and where I can upgrade the rear diffuser to match yours ! - I love the diffuser 'look' to match the new exhaust

We have the exact same model (and colour) on a 67 plate. It’s the wife’s car really, but I use any excuse to drive it. I’m sure she doesn’t really appreciate the subtleties of how it drives or handles anyway 😂

Jaguar is a beautiful car, fast car no doubt about it, but reliability is not available. For some reason the company that owns it cannot make it a good car to own unless you have a lot of money to keep it on the road. Dealers can't fix it when something go's wrong.
