Your maintenance routine please ? I just had a knocking bottom end and I just bought an engine to swap. I drove this car on autobahn 3k-3.5k rpm for hours, will it hurt the engine ?

Der Facelift mit 8 Gang geht noch besser. Ich fahre einen :-) . Laut GPS geht der 255kmh. Was eben speziell ist, das Auto fährt man locker 240 und 250 ganz entspannt. Auch harte Bremsmanöver sind bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten unglaublich sicher. Ich bin viele Jahre BMW gefahren. Auch einen 535d mit Dynamik-Drive, Aktivelenkung und Sportfahrwerk. Das Auto war schnell, aber richtig sicher hat man sich nicht gefühlt. Der Jaguar ist eine ander Klasse. Ohne Elektronik so ein Fahrwerk zu entwickelt ist schon echt genial. Man merkt das Fahrwerk wurde für viel schnellere Geschwindigkeiten entwickelt. Das ist bei 250kmh noch lange nicht schluss... Ist halt ein Jaguar und in Deutschland wird so ein Auto nicht richtig gewürdigt! Eigentlich schade...

I agree with you. I have the 2013 xfs v6 diesel dpf removed and remapped to over 300hp. Its amazing at high speeds. Most people say germans are better but they never tried the XF X250! Before i buy mine , i tested all the cars i had on my list and the XF was the most unique. Especially the interior quality 🔥🔥

The petrol engine engine equivalent, the 3.0 supercharged is much more reliable. Obviously not as good on fuel, but still capable of 40mpg on a run 👍🏼

Jaguar, Range Rover, Citroen und Ford haben ja die gleichen V6 Motoren (Diesel) verbaut da kommt es öfters mal zur einem Motorschaden.🫢

@@bimmermedianot true, the 202kw engine was mainly built by ford and is quite reliable, the other ones (that are currenlty used) are bulilt by Jag and Land rover, these ate the unreliable ones. And i dont think this engine was ever put in a different vehicle than a Jag, at least not as 3.0 litre variant

Consumption long distance (200 km) real 6.5 - 6.9l per 100 km depending on driving style. Short-haul (50 km), the Jag gladly allows itself 8.6 l per 100 km.

I've the 3.0 V6 diesel and did 2 X 5 hour drives, both motorway and stop starting through London and got average of 50.3 mpg. Regularly get 45 mpg around town. It's amazingly good on fuel, obvs depending on how you drive. But with 3.0 you don't need to use much throttle. It cruises almost ticking over.

Also ich fahre einen Jaguar XF 3.0 Diesel S von 2010 und kann das Auto keinem weiter empfehlen die Elektronik von diesem Auto ist wirklich das letzte habe seit dem ich das Auto gekauft habe nur Probleme mit der Elektrik und alles ist so Schweine teuer… aber was Motor und den Rest angeht kann ich mich nicht beklagen der Rest ist eigentlich ganz in Ordnung
