@@maxb.4836 Doug would be fine with a good roster. Players still respect him and are playing hard for him and there’s been a multitude of issues not really related to him. He has a part in the offense, but they’ve also been riddled with injuries and at this point in the season, it’s very hard to rally a team with no realistic playoff expectations

Shad Khan is just kinda way too off hands to really force anything honestly. I feel like if Urban Meyer hadn't lied and been embroiled in controversy, he would've gotten another season at the helm of that team. It's def on the owner to be a bit more proactive and make changes for what's best for the franchise moving forward and honestly this is showing that Peterson may get to play out the string and the franchise will figure it out during the off-season

@tayche1 Doug won a superbowl as a player and coach. He is a good coach. Who do you get to replace him. I'm a niner fan and we are struggling this year. Kyle has many years of no ring yet. It took Andy R a long time and a firing to finally win. It's tough to win. Every year 31 teams lose.

@@tayche1 Doug is not a defensive coach, and the DC was hired by their general manager, who made Doug fire the last defensive coordinator who had these guys playing at a much higher level. The GM also failed to address the secondary which struggled last year also.

It's not a question whether Doug Pederson and everyone else will be fired, it's more about when. The question people should ask firstly is who on the Jaguars is more capable of being the interim Head Coach for remainder of the season than Doug Pederson? And secondly, what would be the point of firing Doug Pederson and everyone else now when the Season is already over and they could just wrap up this mess they've created and then clean it up in the Offseason?

I think they're not as hot headed as you. They are not as EMO as you...counselor...They're looking at everything and evaluating everything...it's a process...and it is way too early to state their activity/intentions/course of actions. The team has two MAJOR weaknesses...one is ACQUISITIONS...the other is lack of receiver depth/quality. Hey! their rookie WR Brian Thomas is the best WR on their team! The year that Dan Campbell got Amon Ra St Brown the Lions went 3-13. IT TAKES TIME TO BUILD A PERFECT TEAM.

HC Doug Pederson won more division titles than most HC have. He gave the Jaguars 2 back to back winning season, and has 1 bad year. They should keep him for another year.

I’ve been saying this and none of the jags fans want to support that idea. They’ve had years of mediocrity and are rightfully pissed off but you have to look at the bigger picture sometimes. And multitude of things went wrong this year that would be hard for almost any coaching staff to overcome. The biggest issue that they’ve had has been on defense Also. And then when Trevor got hurt, Jones is just not the guy.

It’s really his reluctance to let go of press Taylor that is going to be his downfall. And if I remember correctly that’s why his tenure ended in Philly also. Press Taylor has really hindered Trevor’s growth and the effectiveness of this offense.

When you have two # 1 overall draft picks ( Lawrence and Walker ) and NEITHER one has progressed to true superstar status you have a recipe for disappointment and failure. Sure coaching and injuries play a part of this too - however you have had the luxury of playing in the weakest division and still could not achieve success.
