I live in Sweden & they do things here so different then in US, but they still get they same result but in a professional way. The correctional system in this country is completely broken. The judicial system, on a whole, needs a complete overhaul. Police don't know the laws they are meant to make sure people are upholding. The biggest problem in this country is the correctional facilities in this country and how things are done. Keeping men and women locked up for 23 hours of the day does nothing for correction or rehabilitation. It makes matters worse. Every prison in this country needs to have a work and education program. If you are a prisoner with an exit date, and you don't have a high school diploma, GED, or a trade, all prisons should offer something. If these men and women were actually educated or had some type of job skill, they wouldn't be out screwing up. I have seen too many shows with prisoners just existing. It should be when you come to prison, you dont sit on your ass, you either going to get an education or learn some type of trade or skill, to better yourself when you do get out.
