My uncle was a sheriff for 33 years and worked in different positions from booking to guarding judges in the court room. He actually said the worst was guarding the judges because he had to listen to all the horrible things people had done along with looking at the evidence. Which he said the pictures were the worst thing he had to look at. He ended up going back to booking even though he had gotten hurt and had fingers broken it was better than looking at the pictures and listening to the crimes.

Automatic removal from social media for copsucking. You do actually pay for things in jail. Most facilities (ab)use the trustee system in jails where convicted people have to do food service, janitorial service and maintenance service. Then the best part is when you leave jail, you're hit with an itemized bill. Your dorm so dusty and they don't respond to maintenance requests about dust blowing out of vents so you have to go file a med request to get Claritin? Yep thats $10 for a 5 day supply when you get out. $20 to have you booked and processed when you might see the judge the next morning then get released. Why do back the bluers and copsuckers have the most ancient knowledge of how their beloved occupation choices work?

@carlariggs525 Жыл бұрын
read the history of prohibition. People started making illegal alcohol and the government wasn't getting any revenue from it (via taxes). Marijuana still has it's issues, because it's a drug. People drive under the influence on it; neglect their kids while stoned; cause accidents at work and make overall bad decisions and commit crimes. Street marijuana is laced with a lot of chemicals and the black market still controls it even though it's legal in many states.
@NorthCarolinaMomma Жыл бұрын
@@carlariggs525 I know the history of prohibition but the point is, how can the government say that one is less/more destructive than the other? Maybe, it’s simply because the government only cares about what they can gain the biggest profit from. The government in my state is the only alcohol dealer. ABC stores are not privatized so ALL of the profits and tax go to the state government with very little (if any at all) going back to the community. I have seen people become more belligerent at the pharmacy who can’t get a refill because it’s too early and they are abusing their prescriptions. The government doesn’t care about that though because big pharma is in their pockets and they can just blame Mexico/drug dealers for our problems.

What did the guy at 30:53 do?? I mean, he was slowly going back into his cell, and it didn't look like he kicked, hit, or spit.. So why'd the officer push him like that?? Genuine question, btw; I'm not being a smartass, I'm just confused lol

These officers treated the alcoholic with withdrawals with dignity and respect. Despite’s him getting out of the restraint chair at least twice. That was nice to see!

They say, not sure who they are, but they say that drinking alcohol makes your true identity come to light. My father was an alcoholic and I truly believe that it is true. As he got older and drinking more all of his bitterness and sadness came out and it was very difficult to watch him drink himself to death instead of dealing with his addiction and with his life being ruined by the addiction. It was always someone else’s fault that he was the way he was. It’s a sad lonely often violent life, one that could be corrected if you only took responsibility for your own actions.

I don’t like that saying . It’s not true. It takes your inhibitions away so you think you can do whatever because that other part of you isn’t there as much as it usually is.

@@witchone5551 I get that, but they didn’t show all that and why didn’t they grab her by the arm like they do with other people and pull her out of the car? That’s all I’m saying. I don’t know. I saw that. It just seemed wrong on every level.
