People watch her for her personality. She wasn't the first to do this kind of thing, but because she already had a huge fan base and has a certain type of personality - it took off. She has someone else write her dialogue and it's pretty much just copy + pasted from the wiki pages. The material is nothing special and she barely digs beyond that information. I'd rather listen to The Last Podcast on the Left for my crime binge.

@@wrathofmyaxe I actually watch several channels true crime case, paranormal or mystery case, & movies. I like to see things from different perspectives & hear how different people portrait/explain the same topic or story. Even if a script or dialog is similar one person may have a different sense of humor than the other. For example i would watch Ghost Adventures (back when they still had Nick) for the history and stories of a location. I watch the Ghoul Boys from buzzfeed cover the same location for the humor they bring to the table 😁

I thought the same thing. Perhaps she needs to keep the movie names out of the title to her video and also to keep any clips out of the first 30 seconds. It seems odd. I hope she disputes it with her management.

In the original short story there’s a scene with baby Grace spitting strained peas (baby food) all over the kitchen, which I’m almost positive is a nod to the same sort of scene in the Exorcist where the girl is spewing pea soup or some other green goo all over the place. I guess that scene didn’t make it into the TV episode which seems an especially dumb choice since they kept the title 😂

I absolutely LOVE Goosebumps. An Old Story was a good one, so was Click. Goosebumps is so great bcuz it's so weird, bizarre, and sometimes insane. It goes to very crazy places. I am glad these were made before people started getting overly sensitive about any and everything lol. Goosebumps was awesome. The books, the show, the games. I wouldn't change a single thing about the show or any of it. I watched some of the episodes not long ago. My childhood was 50% goosebumps lol. The rest was 90's Nickelodeon (Are you Afraid Of The Dark, Ren & Stimpy, Rugrats, Doug, literally everything on Nickelodeon) Even Nick At Night with I love Lucy, Bewitched, all those old classics. Disney movies, kids movies, old scary movies from the 60's & 70's, movies from the 80's, and adult themed movies i should have DEFINITELY not been watching at that age lol. I'm talkin Dirty Dancing, The color Purple...several other RATED R movies, and I was like 7 when I started watching these movies. Loved them, still do. P.S. I think "Strained Peas might have been named that because there is a baby, and the strained peas are to sound like a baby food, but have the word "strained" bcuz the baby is, well.. not normal lol. That's just a guess. I havwe another guess for the title too, but this seemed more likely ;)
