Absolutely gutted for Trump to not get to the semi final. Jak played very well to beat Trump. This is a match that had a Trump win written all over it, but Judd was out of it. Jak made sure he played his own game. I really hope that Jak has an amazing next season, regardless of his results in the semi final or final. He has the game to play here. Let’s see if he improves his break building.
@Carl-vl1ne27 күн бұрын
Yes I thought with the way Judd has found a way to battle through the previous rounds despite not been on form, that he wouldn’t be phased by jak at all. But jak showed amazing bottle and resilience to play the correct shots 90% of the match. I don’t think the tables have been playing well all of the event. And I think Judd couldn’t adjust to that. Where as jak adapted very well considering. The game was very tight and pretty slow. Which fell in to Jaks game more so. And the better player on the day won. It’s as simple as that

At the start of this match I felt that based on how he played against Si Jiahui, if Jak Jones could play the same and basically drag Judd Trump down to his level and play the game on his terms, he could break Judd and beat him. Really he has done just that and executed it to perfection. Very, very well done, Jak Jones!

I watched the end of the Ronnie match and I can tell you this, the crowd completely misbehaved and allow people in and out with their middle of match sugar fixes. It’s very trashy handling of a match. Disrupts everything. I know Ronnie wasn’t pleased with that. This venue attracts very misbehaving crowds and the folks responsible to enforce rules did not do their job including the ref. I’m a casual snooker fan from Canada, and you will not gain viewership with this kind lack of quality controls in place better refs. And that table…. I mean. Good luck attracting new fans. No wonder they should move this venue elsewhere, it’s a trashy place and very badly managed.
