During the pandemic, Jake Johnson had an email set up - you could send him a message and he would send you a voice memo back in character as Peter B. Parker - he sent our kids messages telling them to stay safe and healthy. The man is a sweetheart

As a person who also grew up with a single mom with a completely absent dad that only reached out as he was dying when I was 26, it's always interesting to hear other people's stories of being raised by a single mom. My mom worked 4 jobs so we always had heat and food and a roof over our head and I'm eternally grateful her effort allowed me to stay safe and get to where I am today with a good job and a master's degree. The stability she provided in my formative years was key!

“The goal is do what you like to do, hopefully have an audience that will come with you, and do it for as long as you can or until you wanna stop.” Gosh I love that. I loved him in New Girl and in all the romcoms I’ve seen of his, but man this was such a profound conversation.

Josh, anytime I think you can't make me squeal in excitement reading a title (quite pig-like) YOU DO IT. Can't wait to watch the video while sobbing over virology and marine ecosystems.

This was my fave episode they've done. Just the vibes and matching energies were so comforting and felt natural.

This man makes me smile, he is knowledgeable and has a great perspective on life. Absolutely loved watching him on New Girl as a kid, just even more great to see him doing well as a young adult❤️

My mom died when she was 40 in a homeless shelter in Calgary. She was an addict wasn't given the proper resources to cope with her trauma and demons. It took until years after she passed to forgive her. There's no answer to how one should grieve, it's literally different for everyone.

Best series on KZbin again. Even guests like this that I don't even know who they are and making enjoyable episodes.

Truly enjoying the last meals it’s one of the best shows ever made. A dream guest for me would be Peter Stormare, I honestly believe that he might have some interesting choice of food as well as some interesting stories to tell.

To be completely honest, I wasn't thinking I'd be too interested in this episode because I'm not familiar with Jake Johnson's work, but this is my favorite episode to date. What an interesting, insightful, funny and wild ride this was. I'll definitely be checking out Jake Johnson's work.
