As a person who also grew up with a single mom with a completely absent dad that only reached out as he was dying when I was 26, it's always interesting to hear other people's stories of being raised by a single mom. My mom worked 4 jobs so we always had heat and food and a roof over our head and I'm eternally grateful her effort allowed me to stay safe and get to where I am today with a good job and a master's degree. The stability she provided in my formative years was key!

As an avid fan of both We are Here to Help and Mythical Kitchen, the ostrich farm storyline absolutely tickled me. I loved that story so much on the podcast, and knowing its origins go back to you guys (specifically Link being the boss in question) makes it that much better.
