He's easily my favorite from New Girl. He deserves way more street cred. Dude is a gem.

I had seen him in stuff before and he was ok. I never knew his name.. Him in Safety Not Guaranteed...then I had to find out who this guy is. He's the shit. He has yet to disappoint. Even in the very low budget movies hes popped up in, he still brings it. He is the only reason I'd dare give zoey Deschanel's tv show a chance. Not a fan of her.

Wow, I’ve never seen this side of Jake. Much respect. I’m enjoying all these clips with him and I can relate to a lot of the things that he went through growing up.

He would be PERFECT to play a young Martin Scorsese. Play this interview at double speed and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Loved listening to Jake. After watching the 4 videos and hearing him talk about his process and how he played as a kid and how he struggled in school, just putting it out there, being the mum of a kid with ADHD and also being married to someone with ADHD if he doesn't know it yet, he is one of those blessed individuals who has it and works with it well!

I tell you man. You give a kid not that many toys their imagination goes fucking crazy. Hell some of the earliest examples I can think of of me writing was when i'd play with my army men and make up storylines in wars or zombie apocalypses. That shit would soak up so many hours. It was amazing.

When I was an actor I felt the same way, I didn't want to be the star of the show and the best thing to respond to was the eyes of the other actor. Pretty cool.

His POW story reminds me that I used to pretend to be homeless (in my backyard), sometimes for a full day just to see if I could make do without going inside. Prepping for homelessness I guess??
