That is some extremely slick bolt manipulation. Very impressive. Do you mind sharing details on what the rifle is and if you had to polish any of the camming surfaces on the bolt etc? I've got a bolt action Howa 1500 for a hunting rifle and have been thinking about slicking it up a bit, and this video is a huge inspiration. (I'm sure you're skill level is also a huge part of all this). Thanks for the video, very inspiring 👍

It's a custom action. A surgeon 591. It'd in an mdt acc chasis. I believe scope is a nightforce optic. It's chambered in 260 rem. They do all of their own machine work. Krieger barrel.

@@bushcraftingmuslim sorry about getting that action wrong! Thats a bummer you don't have access to custom stuff due to the legislation etc. Howa 1500s aren't too bad. It stinks to take a rifle off the shelf and try to make it run like a custom. From what I hear it takes more money being thrown at it or diy knowledge. What custom actions can you get there?
