I agree with you about him not being responsible with it, but being in an extremely rural area, guns can be pretty important for protection from wild animals that may try to attack you/your pets/livestock. But a silencer is 100% not necessary for that 😬

I was just a part of Rent at our community theatre for the summer and we were so happy as a company to have a community fully embrace the show. They were told it couldn't be done here and we sold out almost every performance. The state isn't perfect but don't be dismissive because we lack a club scene. There are no clubs here lol. I moved to Wyoming for a couple of years after I graduated high school and it was the best place I've ever been (and I've been in a lot of places). I moved out of Wyoming 17 years ago and there isn't a day that I don't miss it there. Like you said, it isn't perfect. But damn if it isn't majestic and wonderful. I formed the greatest friendships of my life there. I hope to be healthy enough again one day to travel back to where I lived and show it to my husband. I come from an area with a lot of farms. Almost all the dairy and meat I ate growing up was from one of the small farms within 20 minutes of my house. There are ways to ethically raise animals for meat. As far as I can tell, those yaks are cared for and have ample room to roam. He's not pumping chemicals into them. If he were selling it only to local stores and restaurants instead of on the fucking internet, this would be fairly green with low carbon emissions. Hate both Shane and Jeffrey but really not about the poor light people are shedding on farmers and those who are self sufficient for food. It’s very common practice to have one or two that you don’t kill either for friendship or milk or fur. The others animals are eaten. These yaks are as far as I can see getting far better treatment than most big store meat producers. The lack of education is just astonishing to me because I come from farm land and still do, and almost everything Jeffrey is doing us common and kind practice. Please stop putting genuine farmers jobs at risk all because of your distaste for Jeffrey.
