You know something I just realized. So I was a huuuuge graveyardgirl enjoyer when I was like 13-16 so when Shane did the collab series with her I was really excited about it, and all it really ended up doing was make me feel kind of bad for her and make people dislike her. I remember specifically one of the things Shane "expert youtuber" Dawson kept telling her was she had to stop doing the same old content and diversify. And afterward she made several very upset videos where she expressed how stressful that expectation was, how her core audience didn't like the shift in content, and I think now she's pretty much back to the tried and true (and she's like big on tiktok I think? Good for her if so). And it's just funny to me in retrospect how Shane felt so confident about giving that advice when he 1. Made the same repetitive content for literally years until he briefly stumbled on gold *with* that graveyardgirl series and realized he could repeat that structure to death with other collabs, and 2. Now refuses or doesn't understand how to make different types of content that even his remaining supporters find engaging enough to watch right away or "share with their friends." And nobody is stupid enough or unethical enough at this point to touch Shane with a 5 foot pole or give him any type of "redemption" or revamp boost. Hope he has fun festering forever

so I was once a girl scout and I actually have some insight on what girl scouts expect from a customer and what to do and not do when buying the cookies. 1. girl scouts have no expectations for your clothes, just wear clothes that cover up your genitals and it's all cool. girl scouts are usually little kids and are with their parents, so don't worry they're monitored. 2. don't yell at the scouts. girl scouts aren't here on their own volition, we're forced to be here. disabled girl scouts especially get very overwhelmed during sale days, so please be nice to the scouts. 3. the scout uniform isn't used anymore. the traditional scouts uniform has gone out of style, so girl scouts will usually wear whatever they wore during the day at school and just put their sash / vest on over it. 4. No, the scouts are not judging you. We're more focused on getting sales than we are on you. We'll hype up options if you seem unsure, no judgement here. 5. No seriously, they don't care what you wear. Please stop dressing up just to buy cookies. 6. Where did the stereotype that we're judgy even come from? Scouts are taught to be super polite meek and kind. 7. Don't get angry with the scouts. This is just for their safety if a parent sees you getting angry with their scout they might hurt the scout. 8. BE NORMAL. girl scouts are just like any other retail worker.

I was a girl scout for 8 years, this is correct. We are basically forced to do the sales every year. It especially got harder to sell the older you get since you're not a little kid anymore. But the money does benefit the troop as well as the other programs the girl scouts fund. Part of the money made from my boxes sold from 7th-12th grade went towards my college tuition. The cost was $4 for YEARS before they were basically forced to go to $5. Also I'm pretty sure there are specific bakery companies that make the cookies

Also, I'm not sure about every case ofc, but I did hear before that part of the reason why it feels like you can't breath with a mask on even though a mask doesn't affect oxygen levels (or in my case - sometimes i get a headache) is that the mask feels constructive subconsciously so your body automatically tries to breath through your mouth instead of your nose to 'fix it', and if you're trying to talk while not breathing through your nose that would make you short of breath, so if you purposely make yourself breath through your nose while fully wearing a mask then you will feel less short of breath and/or headaches will go away, I think it just takes a while to get used to sometimes Hope that helps someone !

The only time I tried Aldis products was when I was abroad, we don't have them readily available in our country. Everything we got tasted significantly different than their popular, name brand counter parts but they still seemed pretty good quality. as a former girl scout i can tell you we do get some of the money from the cookies we sell collectively as a group but not all of it, most of the money goes to the manufacturers, then some of it goes to the actual girl scouts organization, and then a small portion goes to your specific troop to fund outings like roller skating or camping or for buying supplies to help complete badges.

I watched shane when i was a kid (shocker he only has kid fans) and i remember there was one video ages ago where him, ryland and morgan(rylands sister) were all hanging out and they mentioned ryland and shane having kids and morgan being a surrogate for them. And they still talked about whose sperm they'd use, despite talking about Rylands SISTER being the surrogate.
