Jake man because of your videos I pulled the trigger on a 2017 s60 t5 awd … I love it it has more than exceeded my expectations… I’ll be a Volvo owner for life and I can now see how special they are and surprised more people don’t drive them…

I have owned my S60 T5 (AWD) since new in 2014, I love my Volvo. This is the last of the turbo 5 cylinder engines. Other than the major service (completed in February of this year), it has not had any parts replaced. I had the dealership change out all of the belts (including the timing belt), the water pump, and all of the tensioners and pulleys. The tech told me that the belt had virtually no wear, I looked at the belt and was surprised with how minimal the wear was for an engine timing belt that was 10 years old and had 98,500 miles on it. I change my oil and oil filter every 5,000KM (3,500 miles). As far as the issue of pistons consuming a lot of oil, 1/4 to half a quart in between oil changes is normal for a Turbo engine, anything beyond 1/4 or 1/2 a quart of oil may require the piston update. I strongly recommend people changing the oil at 3,000-5,000 miles. 5,000 if it is mostly highway driving but 3,000 for city stop and go. The Haldex AWD system will stay in FWD 99% of the time but when there is heavy rain or snow, the AWD computer will turn on and once the conditions of the road improve, the AWD system will turn off and go back into FWD. Prior to this Volvo I have leased several BMWs and Mercedes. I have had such a good experience with owning my Volvo that I am only going to drive Swedish cars hereon. My S60 has the 100,000 mile badge on the trunk (the odometer is 108,971 miles).

Pretty sure I got them on either eBay or Amazon. Both sites were littered with them at the time.

I was going to buy one of these but after hearing bad reviews I decided to buy a p3 v70 I think it was a good decision since I've been with it for a year and I haven't had any problems and it has 227,000 miles 😂
