I like his other videos too, but I see him as an artist first actually because I discovered him via his other music videos just before ROMCOM dropped. There's something so gravitating about this song, maybe it's the fantastic strings that seem to build and swell throughout the track or possibly the fact the lyrics could represent almost any back-and-forth you have in your life. Relationships, career, and especially self-love are so applicable to everything he's saying and it makes this track feel so relatable to me at an individual level, but still broad enough that it could apply to so many people, things and situations. Idk if it was intentional or not, but out of all the Jakey tracks I've heard, this one always makes me FEEL. Sometimes this track feels sad, other times it's this wierd bitter-sweet hype up anthem that gives me the perspective I need to make myself better, for me. Please keep putting out music when you can, because every song so far has been unique and captivating in it's own right.

I couldn't help but notice the whiteboard at 1:12 with to-do lists for the album and whatnot, but I also saw the sentence "I can't even put my clothes away." The outro that starts at 3:50 uses a violin sample from "Epilogue ~ Those Who Remain" from the Shadow Of The Colossus soundtrack. It's the song that plays at the end of SotC, over the credits. Really wild that he actually chose that violin progression for a sample because that's maybe my favourite moment from any classical/orchestal song. Sample seems to be pitch-shifted down slightly but that's definitely it. FIrst use of the sample can be heard at 4:14 in this video.
