I thought about this video today while driving, you know since many people no longer watch over the air or cable TV, they might only get a warning on their cell phones. So maybe there could be an emergency scenario where a person receives a warning about an incoming ballistic missile alert on their cell phones....they quickly get on Twitter or other news aggregators, the internet, in the person's area, is very slow since so many people are using it at the same time, the cell phone emergency alert tells them to tune to a local radio station, the person finds out that they have about 15 minutes to get to minimum safe distance. The person lives in a high rise apartment near the city center. You hear and see the person quickly scurrying about (first person view) getting keys and a backpack full of stuff, food water, looking for a flashlight, batteries, etc. They receive another cell phone alert telling them they now have 10 min before impact, (sort of like a count down), the person goes into overdrive as they frantically try to get whatever they think is valuable into their backpack. You hear them breathing hard and quickly as they feel panic coming on, they quickly bound down the stairs (in the background you hear the cell phone alert going off again, the person doesn't look at it) they get into the car and floor it trying to get away from the center of their city. The streets may be covered in snow or it may raining. On the way to trying to get away from the center of the city, the person drives recklessly as many others are also frantically trying to escape, they drive on sidewalks, on the wrong side of road, eventually the person driving gets into a crash, they are still conscious. Then the screen goes white in the nuclear flash, for about 15 seconds, the person is really close, then a second or two later the boom and shockwave as the car tumbles about. (For some reason I imagine a guy running about trying to escape rather than a girl, maybe a girl might run around trying to escape)

I actually thought about this on my way home from work. I have a 45 minute commute so if a nuke goes off while I'm on the road, my best chance is to find the nearest building...if I can get off the expressway.

@@heyitsjeffagain Thanks, I hope someone can make it into an EAS video. It's easy to develop the big idea but....filling in the details is where all the difficult work lies, you know.....dialog, characters......this piece may be short enough where it may be possible to get away without extensive character development.

It would be interesting if the intro to the video had a sound clip of the UVB-76 numbers station, but not just the typical buzzing sound but actual voice information and people can hear others talking in the background of the numbers station.

Request: Can one be done about the sudden apprarance of all kinds of Metahumans(Re.: DC and Marvel Comics, other comics) all over the planet? I am referring to humans and humanoids that suddenly appeared and they all have really bizarre powers and abilities. Some look like people, some are humanoids. This sort of thing, should it happen for real, could prove interesting, even cause planetary panic. Some of the metahumans use magic alone and/or with other powers and other abilities. As horrific as such a scenario would be this is surprisingly survivable since almost all the targets were in rural areas and the only major urban areas affected to my recollection were the Washington DC and Seattle areas meaning that not only would the nation almost certainly survive this but more tragically whatever conflict started the exchange might actually continue regardless of the nuclear exchange.

@Trainlover1995 Жыл бұрын
@@DFW_04In this scenario, the only targets hit were ones housing nuclear weapons, or were part of nuclear command and control links. No need to hit a military base that has zero nuclear weapons, and targeting cities makes zero strategic sense beyond proving how depraved you are.

im a year late but here is my take: farmland is a more viable nuclear target as it will not only destroy the current years office, but also keep the land unusable for atleast 1-2 years(if its not a dirty bomb), meaning food will get scarce REAL FAST. as such mass starvation will kill more then a single city strike could. also, if they manage to disrupt major highways that would slow down transport of already existing food storage too.

For my radio setup I also have a weather radio with a dedicated external antenna that will sound a loud alarm, IF one gets sent out thru NWS. I have it for tornadoes and floods and stuff like that.

@@KingThrillgore why depend 100% on phone? It could be not available or not working or the alert does not get sent out that way. That would be like tv stations not telling anyone about a tornado because supposedly "everyone has a phone." They alert by multiple means and there is good reason for it.
