Maintenant, votre tentative de mise en parallèle entre Vincent Van Gogh et Orlinski est encore infiniment plus outrée que ma phrase précédente! (A moins que ça n'ai été du second degré...Ce dont je doute)! Par contre je lance l'idée que ce petit monsieur vende plutôt ses sous-vêtements sur internet puisqu'en fait son seul talent est son physique et son seul but l'argent! I think Jakub and all of the ensemble love each other. The mutual respect and love create something special for the audience. They work and play with pleasure and it goes straight to the listener. Fantastic example of perfect cooperation. Love it.

The fact is that Jakub attracts many people to classical, especially Baroque music. That's fantastic. The fossilised attitude that Baroque music is mostly for a little circle of so called "experts" has started cracking, I hope. This music is for everyone and maybe those who are not experts listen to it with an open heart and get much better emotions.

Agrippina is so underrated as an opera. Oddly entertaining, especially with the modern adaptations by the Met!

I love Handel operas. The 19th century theme of the fallen woman does not appeal to me. Not a bit. I like the idea that love is something that happens to you. It's not all about choice! I am nearly 70 and I find the myths of the Greeks and Romans very convincing and much more appealing than the Germanic stuff. Modern adaptations of 17th and 18th material are such a good way to reflect on the present.

Cantando da anni e anni in questo registro, so quanto è difficile collegare l' emisdione di testa con quella di petto, e questo contraltista ci riesce ottimamente. È evidente che oltre ad una bella voce ed una notevole musicalità è anche un professionista molto diligente nello studio. Tanto è vero che anche la pronuncia italiana è precisissima.

There is a sense of calmness and also the experience of happiness,sometimes to the point of extasy.
