Steve, thanks very much for the video. The problem was exactly as you described. It was a tiny piece of thread that was hung up under the hook basket in the channel. Amazing that such a small piece of thread could hang up this heavy equipment. Thanks again for the time you take in providing these helpful videos!!

A thread is caught under my bobbin case. I got the 2 screws out and loosened the last one. The "latch" swung open as in your video, however my basket is a bit different and the basket does not want to come out. My husband is also trying to remove it. We're concerned not to hurt anything, but we'd love some help if you have any advice. Thanks in advance.

Thank you so so so much for this video, it's so hard to find videos about issues with the ls-1341. The issue i have ofte4n and can't figure out why, is the thread coming off the bobbin, some how gets looped underneath the bobbin, then because of that it gets the thread loops around the piece that holds the bobbin in. Basically it's a damn nightmare. This machine is lovely but also very fussy! Please help

I am not able to remove the basket cade. I added one drop of oil where I can see a tiny piece of thread. I am so afraid of ruining something by trying to remove the basket. Can you help?

@@irenezewski sam had me pry until it popped out. It eventually popped out and went flying. A tiny piece of thread was caught in there.
