What is important to take in to account that this is Romania barely 3 years after the fall of the Iron Curtain and Communism. Michael represented 'Fame', 'Wealth' and 'Freedom' from the West. Young people (or no one in fact) had EVER seen anything like this before in their lives...and to be treated to the medusa of absolute Awesomeness was almost orgasmic for many in the audience. It was almost too unbelievable and cool. Just look at the girl at the 0.58 mark

MJ went to Romania, Bucharest! Dangerous tour... There was just prior a major communist war going on. And Romania broke free! MJ gave between 3000-5000 free tickets away for people that couldn't otherwise be there! Plus the proceeds went to charity! He didn't except payment for it! No artist would tour that area at the time! It was really bold and risky! But he did it, under the advice not to do it! Dangerous tour! P.S I seen this concert in Leeds for my 8th birthday! I'm now 40! I'll never forget it!

So you must understand what it was like to go to a MJ concert regarding them fainting. First of all it was the wait. He released an album only every five years. Then it was very hard to get a ticket. Once you had a ticket if you wanted to be front rowe you waited the night before and a whole day until doors were opened. Then you had to run to the stage to make it front rowe. There was no sections for front rowe that were higher priced like nowadays and then u were in that front circle. You simply had a ticket and with that ticked first come served first. End of story. Then you again waited hrs on end until it got dark and he finally was on stage. So the suspence, the dehydration, no eating and yes the exitement really took some out. It was very very exhausting. I attended concerts in 1997, 1999 and 2001and in 1997 in summertime i really thought i will not make it bc of the heat. You were also not allowed to bring water inside and yes of course you could buy water inside the stadium but then you would lose your spot. Gladly some of the concert staff at some point started handing out a tiny cup of water or simply used water hose to soak you to cool you down a little. Now if on top you had that time of the month as a lady or you needed to go to ease yourself, no chance. Either hold it or you lose your spot. Ppl pushed themselves to stay and keep their spot.

I believe this was the last tour he performed live, as he felt dancing and singing was taking a toll on him. So for concerts going forward, he lip synced. But if you listen carefully, you can still hear him singing underneath. I first noticed it in 2001 with his 30th Anniversary concerts.
@ghostprotocol895 ай бұрын
He has plenty of songs thru out the History tour on several stops where he sings live & momentarily used backing tracks as he caught laryngitis on the 2nd leg of the History tour.. Please refrain from stating your own opinions as fact when you can do a quick Google search providing the actual answers, Had I not replied to this, Seph would have thought MJ lip synched everything beyond 1993 & that is NOT the case my friend.

Dear Seph, I am so glad that we are finally getting back to the music. And I always get nostalgic about the Dangerous Tour because I myself attended a concert of the Dangerous Tour in 1992 and it was my first concert ever in my life. It was insane to be in the audience when he was catapulted off stage and then everyone went completely crazy. However, the vocals in Jam are lip-synced because the song is not singable with all the dancing. Actually, it's not singable at all, if you remember the studio video when they put the vocal sections together you can see that the breathing pauses between the lines are too short.
@SephPlays5 ай бұрын
Yep there's a couple of crazy lines in this one for sure! Makes sense

Hey Seph how can they copyright Budapest? They released on DVD .. you mean you can’t react to your own dvd? Which you prob don’t have but if you did? Or are you using someone else’s videos?
@SephPlays5 ай бұрын
The company who owns the copyright to this concert has a permanent *Block* on any footage on it. So if you try to show your dvd on here they will not allow anyone to see it for 48 hours "If you are covered by fair use" in my case because im adding a commentary/reaction it puts me under fair use luckily 👀 if i just straight up put the entire concert on youtube without me talking through it or anything, then it wouldn't be *Fair use* and they would either copyright strike me or just leave it permanently copyright blocked 😭
