Thank you SO much for this tutorial. I've been a knitter for a couple decades, but am new to crochet and after trying (and being very unhappy with) several other coffee cozy/sleeve patterns, this is my first truly successful sleeve! I can see why you love this extended single crochet stitch and along with the joy of learning a new stitch, I'm happy to have had your help working this in the round!

I really like the stretch of this stitch ! Finishing a hat I'm gifting. I think I'm using this for the brim.

Ooh awesome, I'm trying to make a postbox for our postman who is retiring and had to frog my first attempt, then found this through your site (from looking at poncho and shawl patterns, totally unrelated 😆) This looks like it could solve the problems I had with my first postbox attempt, thanks!

Can you start it in the round by connecting the foundation row together?

What yarn are you using in this video? My yarn never looks as nice and tight as yours...not just gauge-wise, but just in general. I'm thinking it's a quality issue but need help with a suggestion on what to buy to compare and confirm whether it's just me, or if it's the yarn :)
