Ingredients;
6 medium carrots
5 medium beetroots
4 cups water
1 12 oz nature’s charm evaporated coconut milk ( you can use any Plantbased milk)
Agave to sweeten( use sweetener or choice)
1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
1tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
🍃 Enjoy!

The vitamins in carrots that are fat-soluble, including vitamins A, E and K, are heat stable and won't be destroyed by boiling. In fact, cooking can help break down the vegetable's cell walls, freeing up more of the nutrients. Heating may also increase their calcium levels in carrots.

Thanks for the recipe 😘 I just learnt than I need to add some spices to the punch today. I've been making it without spices. I use condensed milk, nourishment and malt instead of sweetener though. 😊 Thanks once again. I will add those spices in my next punch.👍

It's a good blend,but you don't need to boil , you may likely loose some nutrient

TFS...could you roast the veggies so nutrition isn’t lost in the boiling water?🤔

Roasting will not work. I used the water they were boiled in. Boiling creates a smooth consistency and the pulp is consume this way. You can also juice the beets and Carrot, extract the juice then add the spices and milk. You’ll get a thinner consistency.

I tried the recipe it taste yummy but I sieved mine cos there was chaff in it I think the beet n carrot didn't cook well

I’m glad you tried and enjoyed it. Just boil them longer next time to get a refined/purée consistency where you don’t have to sieve it. Also depending on your blender make sure you blend until completely smooth.

No, you can juice them or blend and strain to extract the juice then add the spices, sweetener and milk. Note that the consistency will be thinner.

Doesn't boiling it take away the important nutrients in the beets and carrots? Instead you should steam it.

I prepared it how I’m use to but of course you can steam them or even juice them them add the sweetener and spices. I’m here as a guide but you can also adjust the recipe to fit you liking.
