I'd love to have an explanation of ode. Thanks a lot! Cause I always enjoy your wonderful classes. God bless!
@MyschoolNigeria5 ай бұрын
"ode" refers to a type of lyrical poem that is characterized by its formal structure, elevated language, and often elaborate praise or celebration of a person, event, idea, or object. The term "ode" is derived from the Greek word "oide," which originally meant "song" or "chant." Odes have been a prominent poetic form since ancient times and have been used by poets across cultures and centuries.

Excuse me Ma, you said that a panegyric poem is to praise, I humbly accept and also eulogy a praise for the deceased or the dead, but what about "ode"?

No 38 I thought subjective narrator is the answer because I is a Subject so it is meant to be D
@MyschoolNigeria5 ай бұрын
The narrator in a prose work who is also a character is known as a first-person narrator. In first-person narration, the story is told from the perspective of one of the characters, using first-person pronouns such as "I" or "we." This type of narration provides readers with direct access to the thoughts, feelings, and experiences of the character-narrator. It often creates a sense of intimacy and subjectivity, as the reader sees events through the lens of the narrator's perceptions and biases.

Sorry question 31 I feel it is hyperbole because it is an exaggeration fro u to see a world in a grain of sand
@MyschoolNigeria5 ай бұрын
It seem paradoxical to envision an entire world within something as small as a grain of sand, it's more about the capacity for imagination and the ability to find meaning and significance in the seemingly trivial. It's a poetic expression of the interconnectedness of all things and the potential for profound insight in even the most ordinary aspects of existence.

Because, Paradox, metaphor and hyperbole have almost the same meaning.
