Hi Jamee - you've done it now ... You've opened Pandora's box of musical awesomeness known as Home Free - and just your small sample of two songs is not even a taste of their incredible talent - they actually have original music but believe me - the covers they do, it's like they freakin' own them. Boyz 2 Men cover / End of the Road - will knock your lights out... another one : When a man loves a woman...will send you to the moon, Blue Ain't Your Color / Keith Urban, just to name a few of their vast library....So I hereby challenge you to tread boldly down that Home Free Highway and you will never be the same and...by becoming a bonafide "Home Fry" you will gain a throng of fellow Home Fry subscribers to your channel - which I just became..... You have Austin who is the Tenor with the buttery voice you hear on his solo, Rob (with the beard) lyrical Tenor, Adam "Chance" the Baritone, Time Foust the Bass with 5+ Octave range and Adam Rupp who eats drumkits for breakfast and is their "percussion". All of them are insanely talented, can all sing multiple parts (for instance Chance can cover Bass) and all participate in the sounds you hear. Speaking of Boyz II Men, I suggest "End of the Road" cover....you won't be disappointed. Also check out Man of Constant Sorrow, Folsom Prison Blues, Ring of Fire, Butts Medly...but really, just like Pentatonix, they are all winners. Recently, they released "I Swear", "When a man loves a woman" and "American Pie ft. Don McLean"...

Love this! You should go down the rabbit hole. You won’t be disappointed. I just discovered them during the pandemic and I love them. They’re an “a cappella” band and won the NBC show the Sing Off in 2013 the year after Pentatonix won. Their beatboxer is amazing and they use no instruments. They sing a lot of covers but also write and sing their own songs. Tim Foust, the bass, was featured here with his girlfriend now wife. They got engaged near those waterfalls. It’s a beautiful song. Try Heaven, Meant to Be, How Great Thou Art, Helplessly Hoping. Three of the boys are from the south, two from MN. They sing all genres of music and can be goofy too. Have a good weekend.

Yes Home Free is acapella country group, but they also do much more. They have a large list of videos to react too. They won season 4 of the sing off. They have since released six albums now I believe. They have collaborated with the Oakridge boys on Elvira, Alabama on Christmas in Dixie, Lee Greenwood on God bless the USA, Charlie Daniels on Devil went down to Georgia, Kenny Rogers on children go where I send thee, and most recently with Don McLean on a American pie. Tim Foust the bass singer was inducted into the gulf coast country music hall of fame last year. They are an amazing group but also do solo stuff and other collaborations on their own with other artist.

Great reaction! You sincerely enjoyed that, and it's a bit refreshing to see someone appreciate the music on that level. Home Free is such an impressive group, and I'm sure that you will enjoy your trip down that rabbit hole. Cover pieces like this are a rarity on reaction videos - with a few exceptions, like Home Free - but they are a very important part of the music scene today. Young talent abounds on the KZbin stage, so as far as cover bands and such, it's a listener's market for sure. It's a very tough business these days for young singers and musicians, and the competition is fierce. A format such as this would be an ideal platform for exploring and discovering some of that amazing unknown talent. I would like to recommend to you a charming young Romanian singer - Smaranda Marion. She has a beautiful contralto voice, with a rare golden tone. She has many covers in various genres, and a few originals. I suggest "Black Velvet", "Billie Jean", or "Here I Go Again" as good examples of her work. She performs with a gifted young guitarist named Andrei Cerbu - a master in the making. Keep up the good work! I look forward to watching more of your delightful reactions!

Home Free has over 100 songs and counting. They do country, pop and R&B covers and some very fine original work. Austin recorded Unchained Melody as a solo quarantine project with his good buddy Steven Martinez. I've only seen a guitar in one of their songs: they did a collaboration with Jeffrey East and the Oak Ridge Boys on their Christmas special this past year O Beautiful Star of Bethlehem. My favourites from them are Love Train, Folsom Prison Blues, and Sunday Best. For a different cover band, check out Lake Street Dive's slow jazzy cover of Michael Jackson's I Want You Back. For another a capella band, check out VoicePlay's Carry On My Wayward Son.

Unchained Melody was performed by Austin as a solo on his own channel. The rest of Home Free was not involved. Similarly Tim Faust will also perform with his singer friends on the side. Including a recent duet with Chris Rupp (one of the founding members of Home Free, whom you'll usually see in a hat or cap in their video's before Chance joined after Chris left). If you want to hear what Austin would have sounded like with Home Free in Unchained Melody, catch HOME FREE WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN. One of their latest video releases. Was released after Unchained Melody, so I'm glad you got to hear these two songs in the correct order. All I can say is when they start the 'music', you have NO idea what's about to hit you. This is one experience I wouldn't want to put off. Trust me. First Time I was able to hear every word. Enjoy. Let us know if you also hate the timing of that fade.

Rob and Adam Rupp live in Minnesnowta (I know it's corny) Austin and Tim have left Georgia and Texas to live in Nashville, TN, and Chance has transplanted himself from Abalama (Yes, I know that's incorrect also) to Los Angeles, Cal! Since the quarantine, they each record themselves at home, send it to their producer and he stitches them together to make the great videos that have happened afterward. Reason. I like songs and music from past is that it brought our the, a word not popular today ," sensual movments of a woman's response to the music and sometimes her man. When the dance is at first stiff and formal but certain music took hold, the melding took place.as when soon one got lost in a women's sensual moment. And holding, as In a waltz , head on my shoulder smell of her hair and perfume , sme lls of sweet slow breaths and warmth of hands joined and two bodies soon moving as one. You could close your eyes and still see and feel her movements. Dancing holding each other somretimes even after the music ended.

Watch Adam Rupp's drum solo preferably the latest one... You might like their cover of "End of the Road" as well.

The couple featured (the bass Tim Foust and Jennika Marion) were either engaged or married when this video was made.
