I relate to the post partum depression and anxiety and shell of a person after my 1st kids-- because I, also at 26, didn't know I have Inattentive ADHD and was Autistic......

I totally relate to the part about people thinking I make up my life experiences. Still no idea why people would think I'd make up imaginary experiences but it's been happening for a couple decades now. I've learned to just let it go, gossips will create gossip and for whatever reason I make a good target.

Wait is there actually a distinction between ADD and ADHD? Because I thought that was removed recently. Was it not and I’m just wrong? OR was it restored, kind of in the way that Pluto ought to have its status restored as a planet? #justiceforpluto

Well, I was just diagnosed last year (early 2023), and was told that it's just ADHD - there's ADHD (Inattentive), which is what used to be called ADD, and ADHD (Hyperactive), AND ADHD (Combined), which (as the name implies) combines both types and is what I have. The "H" in ADHD DOES mean "hyperactive," but it refers more to our brains and how they never rest, whereas the Hyperactive type of ADHD is meant more for folks who are constantly moving in some capacity, whether it's parkouring off of everything/practicing your baseball slide into base on every possible surface so you won't hesitate when it's actually time to steal a base (this was my baby brother btw, hence the specificity), OR just constantly shifting in your seat and fidgeting your hands and maybe tapping a toe (more my flavour as someone AFAB, since I was socialized from birth not to be "disruptive"). So tl;dr: both the H and (Hyperactive) mean "hyperactive," but are referring to different KINDS of hyperactivity (the first in the brain's thoughts, the other in physical movement).
