Dollar Tree sells sippy cups with the clear plastic thing that goes inside the lid... plastic thing in OR out they rarely leak... slung all over the cars dropped / thrown on the floor they are working wonderful for my grandson of 18 months. They have Sesame Street peeps on them. Dollar General also carries 1.00 cups same type as the dollar tree ones for 1.00 they just have words and or sayings on them and not characters. Having said that, if the clear thing is out and they are determined to shake it upside down to MAKE the liquid come out, well... it will but still slowly and they have to be determined to do it.

thank u for the tip about the tin/can tops, I didn't realize that pull ring ones dnt last as long, I'll need to re-organize my cupboards and put those ones at front. I live alone and make freezer meals and it's worth taking a day or so to do it. I make my son some things too from time to time when requested 😆. The prices in the UK have gone up a lot too, I usually go to 4 different shops for my things and I will bulk buy when there's a deal on or it's down in price. My milks probably the cheapest in lidl it's 59p a litre for soy milk so I buy a case of 8 and it's shelf milk so it lasts me around 2 month. I probably spend more on my 2 cats than I do myself tho, can't help myself 😂. Another great video, much ❤️ from 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 UK.x

My eldest always drank from glass cups since she was a baby, she has never broken a glass as of yet, and has only spilled a hand full of times…. As for my youngest, it’s another story, spills all the time, she’s a fidgeter, so water bottles and cups with lids are best.

Prices here in UK have doubled in grocery shopping it's ridiculous people are having to go to food banks which is degrading for them, government don't put wages up to meet these rises that's why a lot of companies are going on strike you can't blame them. Utility prices have gone through the roof 🙈

We grew up not buying a lot of groceries because we grew our food. we had our veggies, eggs, chicken, beef, and pork. Also we cut our own wood to have heat. We're used to doing without. Just a tip- those pork loin roasts can be cut into chops for anyone wanting to save per pound for those chops you got for the grill. I’m sure you’re aware and need the convenience of not having to do that, although it would make a good video for a Miesen knife. 😜

We are going to use outside solar landscaping lights for evening. Use daylight when we have it. We use air on 78 most days with fans going throughout the house where we spend our time. Keep blinds closed on side the sun is coming in. We open windows in early morning if it isn't humid and turn fan on in windows to bring in cool air. We don't use the dryer much if any. Refrigerator kwh is good. After using microwave, computers, tv, it is unplugged. Hope this helps. Groceries....we buy meat on sale only. Trying to get farmers' market veggies to can if it is cheaper.

Love your Costco hat!! I bought one there too and use it all the time! I shop Aldi, Walmart, Sam’s, & Costco. I feel you really have to to get the best deals. This inflation is just terrible. I price check, compare, buy store brands when I can, and the final total looks as though I just threw everything in the cart without checking prices or caring! Such a shame. 😓

This summer we are blessed with a better harvest of some of our favorite veggies and that will make a good dent for a few months we are also learning to ferment so we will have our own pickles with good bacteria lol I'm reusing meat fat(filter through a coffee filter or a couple paper towels) this works wonderful as an oil substitute, is actually healthier than seed oils, and you already paid for it! On the sippy cup problems my grands had problems with them too. Our solution was to get the hard spout ones but on the rubber piece that goes in the spot we would take a knife and make the split larger. We rarely had any leaks and believe me they had every opportunity to leak even under pressure in the hot car (they would get lost under seats) with spoiled milk and 100+ degree heat no leaks.

It does not leak, ever. My 7 year old is a seafood lover as well. He has always liked fish, seaweed and shrimp (he would ask for them for breakfast as a toddler) but last winter we did a homeschool unit about polar animals so we tasted a lot of different seafood throughout the unit. My first boyfriend was one of 11 children, and his mom always had a pot of homemade beans on the stove, and homemade flour tortillas. It cost pennies to make and filled lots of bellies. Hi Jamerrill! My bestie used the kids Contigo cup with straw. No joke, you could flip this thing around a hundred times and if even a drop or two came out that was a lot. But if you used the straw it’s great.

The owala bottles are my favorites for the whole fam. They're kind of expensive to me but we haven't had a spill or leak yet. Flip lid for kiddo and the other type for me. They just made a small one but we have 19oz and it hasn't been too heavy even when filled.

We were buying gallon sweet tea and by the gallon it was around 50 dollars a month give or take depending on the amount of people drinking it. I bought an ice tea maker from Amazon and we are saving so much money now ❤️

Nuk sippy cups are the best! The hard spout ones. They’re just solid colors with solid color lids but they are by far the best! Cheaper & no spills! I’ve used for 7 kids & use for my daycare kids also!

With the soft spout sippy cups you have to make sure the silicone spout thing is seated JUST right! They're great though and the only ones my little boy will use! Though now he tends to bite the spouts off as he's now 4 but ya know kids 🤷

I find myself going grocery shopping less and less of course my stock pile is shrinking in my pantry because of it but I just can't stand to see the prices on everything go up up up it is sticker shock every time--ugh

I completely emphasize with you. I have finally decided to leave my stockpile alone, eat out of my little freezer and use some of my short term rice. My garden is doing well and none of it is in the ground. All of it is in pots. I cram everything into each pot mercilessly! I've never thinned my green beans ever. They produce like crazy. Good luck to you and don't give up. Keep prepping.

Great haul - but that monster container of sesame oil cannot be stored in your cupboard. It needs to be stored in the fridge. At least I believe you said you were waiting for your new cupboards. I can hear you a lot of you now. I never store my sesame oil in the fridge and I've always been fine. You haven't been fine, you've been lucky. Storing it in the fridge will avoid a horrible case of food poisoning. It's the same thing you have you have chili oil. (Just trying to help here).

I just bought 50 pound bags of Hard white wheat berries and 50 lb bags winter red wheat berries at Sharp Shopper in Waynesboro, VA. Each were $50.00. They had more than a pallet each each. They also had 50pounds of rolled oats, but I don't remember er what the price was.

mrs jamerrill...the parents choice soft spout sippys are great..hard ones work well too..better then name brand... worked for all three of my grandsons but I realized that the hard ones were a little harder for them to suck the juice out until they were a little bit older..

My sippy suggestion is weird. Those juice containers with the characters heads as a spout called good to grow. They sell them one or three each at Walmart fairly cheaply. After the child drinks the juice I wash them and use them. They’re perfect!!

The best sippie cups I found for my twins were the cheap ones from Walmart. I think they were the parents choice brand. I didn’t want anything too fussy and you can put them in the dishwasher.
