If anybody watching this feels driven to donate to a pantry, pop top cans are their favorite, canned meats, spaghettios type things, soups with meat, deodorant, shampoo, bug spray, sunblock, LOTION, laundry detergent and the two most needed and often forgot about items: coffee(instant is best especially single serving), and can openers.

@Sara Q: I've noticed there's a pantry nearby me where they've stopped serving a 2nd day of the week just because they didn't have $65 donated to pay for the uhaul rental. I've been sending this into the Samaritan House so they will reopen for the 2nd day. There's also a church nearby that's paying out fresh produce, I hope this helps someone keep up with their families. If I'm blessed to find land I'll plant some food to be donated to help others too.

There was a time our family was so blessed we adopted families from the shelters for abused women and children. We are no longer have that privilege/ability to do so. I just wanted to say bless you all for your generosity, these people so need your kindness!

I have thought of that too... but really it is pretty easy to take some of her recipes and just omit or substitute to make it vegan/vegetarian. And in truth being a plant based family. We eat 98% of all of meals at home what I find easiest is to just bulk cook and freeze a variety of beans and having frozen veggies makes cooking a meal 20-30 minutes. However, i do triple down when we are going to have breakfast tacos and freeze those, as well as muffins if I can get them in the freezer before they're devoured.😂🤣

Could you even imagine how much it would cost you, if you didn't cook for your family, but rather went out to eat all the time? forget it! It would be insane. $1500 -you did really really good for that amount. We FINALLY got our large chest freezer that we ordered several months ago and I am thrilled to death! I now can start to bulk cook and freeze meals as well as buy items on sale. I am so happy

I was born in Zimbabwe, when it was still Rhodesia, then lived in South Africa for 23 years before moving here. I really liked it here, but all this stuff going on now has made life tough. I have naturally curly hair too. I switched to the curly girl method and I wash my hair way less! The shampoo costs more, but it use it way less and in smaller amounts. It has saved me money there. Hand soap, get the foaming ones. You can make your own soap in those by adding 1 part normal hand soap and 4 parts water. So you can stretch your soap a lot that way! I’m sure you get tips like those all the time.

Love your hauls esp the sharp shopper ones! You definitely get the most bang for your buck. I just came by from our discount salvage store this morning and racked up. Freezers, Pantries, food storage and fridges are fully stocked! I tell my youngest (16 yrs old) I do this out of love, I want my family to have comfort knowing they’ll have nutritional and fun foods no matter what the future holds. God bless!

I would let her pick out 2 treats too. No judgment on my part. She loved the bags of little powder sugar donuts, large frozen soft pretzels, or frozen veggie cutlets (not available anymore).

I need to tell you about Weather Tech floor liners. My 2014 Expedition came with them (I always buy used of course) and all I have to do is pull them out and hose them off. They are amazing!!!!! When hubs bought a used Subaru to drive to work, I INSISTED that he buy Weather Tech for it. Best investment ever ever. No vacuuming floor mats, no stain removal effort. Look into them. I promise they will save you so much trouble. This coming from a woman who loves cars, loves driving and loves keeping mine clean. They are custom for each automobile. They fit so nice.

I have a question for you!! Do you sit down and do a BIG menu plan prior to heading to the grocery and have a list of what you need for said meals, OR do you sort of menu plan as you shop? (I tried that and bought a lot of ingredients and couldnt remember what I was going to make! LOL) I'd LOVE to see a video on how you plan your meals prior to shopping, then how you remember to take things out of the freezer a few days before. It’s a little more complicated for me these days because so much of my “job,” has become developing recipes, meal plans, and other family meal time related resources for others. I used to meal plan for 4 to 6 weeks at a time, and shop based on those plans. These days a lot of the meals that I cook are based on what I need to film and recipes I’m currently working out. ❤️

I just washed all my windows in our new home with vinegar. It’s all I use now. Don’t even add the Dawn anymore. And let me tell you, these windows were hideous! They had watered the lawn with hard water and it sprayed all the windows. They were so bad, you couldn’t even see through the limescale. Straight vinegar and a squeegee and they’re crystal clear!

Hopefully y’all don’t mind a tid bit from a southern grandma. Ok........ green beans, I prefer fresh but canned will do. On the stove dump in green beans add garlic and a finely diced onion along with bacon grease. I always save my bacon grease. Simmer for about 30-45 minutes depending on the amount.

The fudge coconut bars are great . I think your sticker price said 2 for 4 if so great price. Usually run almost 3.89 to over 4 in my area unless I cathe a sales not often.

I think I would have gotten 2 of the plastic wrap......I over buy at Costco but if its something you use alot and really like, I dont want to run out...I like the Kirkland dish liquid. Last for months but once they were out and I was bummed. Next time I bought 4. Enough for 3 years probably. Thanks for sharing. Love your channel.

Wow!! I'm a momma to 8 as well and just did my monthly haul , only 328$ but then I do weekly local grocery shopping as well. I hope you brought a helper shopping with you? Hope you are feeling well and finding time to rest while growing that sweet baby😊
