After ground camping and then a couple of years sleeping in the rear of my 4Runner, buying a Baroud was truly a game changer for me. I love my Baroud, and I sleep much better (even better after I added a second foam mattress). I found that those inside corner joints don't have to be locked when you open up the tent. I have yet to have one of them collapse, even in windy conditions. Great video, bud.

Yes,We can lock the pivot points when entering the tent at night and can unlock it in the morning.

Looks dope. This was one I was looking at before I got my GFC. Felt that mattress and that’s a huge selling point for that tent.

Hi there. Thanks for the video. Just wondering how you installed it on the rhino platform. Was any drilling needed? Do the rails on the tent line up with the gaps in the platform? And is there anything between the tent and platform? Sorry about all the questions!
@CLEARVISIONOVERLAND3 жыл бұрын
Im using the Rhino Rack track rails to line up with the 4 tent holes. Then I just use square nuts with m6 bolts to slot in the rails.

Hi mate - thanks for your other response. I have another question, could you please tell me if the cargo area collects water after rain? Or does most of it escape from the two channels at the back???
@CLEARVISIONOVERLAND3 жыл бұрын
Rain collects but drains while driving..

La tienda se cierra muy bien. Yo tengo una y es increible. Es una locura cerrarla como hace este hombre. Peligra la integridad de la fibra de vidrio. Lo pone bien claro en las instrucciones. Algo hace mal.

It is if this contraction is so good where's The telescope ladder not that cheap too extension ladder. You can't put that ladder anyway with a telescope ladder. You can hide it somewhere...

Hello your video is interesting. my question is: what is your size? thank you for your reply
@CLEARVISIONOVERLAND4 жыл бұрын
The tent is the JAMES BAROUD EXPLORER, I believe it only comes in one size/footprint.
@skapunkoialternativeliving6522 Жыл бұрын
Before you can give it a really reveal you've got to test it for yourself sleeping it for a month or 2 months and then get back to us. Until it's how it is and gives the price when you're at it

I bet that thing isn't cheap - although it looks amazing.

Looks like you got the tent backwards? Those vents should be facing the front of the 4runner so they circulate air when you drive?
@Highlandoutbuildings.4 жыл бұрын
Nope. The negative pressure will do that for you. You wouldn’t want rain and snow driving in there.

Fk packing that up in the rain. Having to leave the doors open, watering dripping inside on all the bedding, no awning enterance to climb the ladder while its raining, and having to sit on it to latch it while its raining... my point is for about 5 grand in australia should come much better designed.
@CLEARVISIONOVERLAND3 жыл бұрын
The less fabric, the better..You don’t want all that crap flopping around in the wind, trust me. Also, water doesn’t get in this thing. So far, it’s been a great tent!

I hope he tells the price most people when they do this topic. Nonsense never gives a price to tell you it's good. It's? Good. What is the price if it's overpriced or uninterested $4000? H*** no too high for A tent..
@MarcoVialeBakmaind2 жыл бұрын
Should be easier to close the tent, climb on the roof of a car and step on it is not for all people.
